“Best Soul Food that I’ve ever had. Huge portions We got the steamers as an appetizer, served in a perfect garlicky broth. We had a fun and energetic server, named Ray. I was debating between the fried chicken or the smothered pork chop and he said “well, Popeyes is everywhere, get the Pork chop” The pork chop did not disappoint! Perfectly seasoned, crispy smothered in gravy and onions. For sides, we both got the Collard Greens, I got the yams and my husband got Mac and Cheese. Best Collard Greens ever! It was Mother’s Day weekend so was very busy… but all and all worth the wait and a fantastic experience.“

“sitting here waiting for my first order so i figured i'd give some feedback about the menu- specifically regarding the gluten free subject. let me just say- very unclear. so many things i'm interested in ordering but don't know if they are gluten free or not- for ex, wanted to order the poke bowl- says gluten free option. when went to add ingredients doesn't specify which are gluten free or not- like sauces & the marinades & a lot of seaweed salad isn't gf so etc. is like this for a lot of menu items not just poke. a lot of menu items you have to click on each one to see if it's gluten free as opposed to viewing all gf options at once as well. basically, it's not really worth the trouble if you're gluten free to come here unless you find your go-tos. this would be easier if you could heart your favorites so you could be prepared instead of having to look through everything every time. still need to work out a few kinks here to make this a lasting business imo, but cool idea. hope the co is willing to work on improvements. (giving food all stars for now but haven't tried it yet)“

“Went with my mom and we mainly went for the oxtails and Mac n cheese which was Devine. My first time trying oxtails and been craving them ever since. The Mac n cheese was delicious and I don’t play bout my Mac n cheese. We had the chicken tacos as our appetizer and they were refreshing and just overall delicious. Now I’m not an alcohol girl so the drinks were a little strong for me but they were still good. Now our waitress was a bit off her game. When our tacos came out she never brought us plates so we were eating them on our napkins and another waitress saw and brought us plates immediately. We had to keep looking around for our waitress for to go boxes and the check. Besides that everything was great the music, atmosphere and the food is out of this world. Most definitely will be back.“

“Felt like some good soul food today, so I ordered over the phone for pickup! Food was made to order so it was delicious and fresh! Owner was very friendly and nice! I ordered the wing platter! The only bad thing I can say is the female he has working there was very rude, unfriendly and unprofessional! She got upset with me for accidentally trying to enter into the wrong door! I apologized to the owner! Instead of waiting on me, she decided to go outside and be on her phone! I could tell the owner was embarrassed…I would have been too because “good professional help” is hard to find!“
