“Last night we dined here and everything was excellent, from the service to the food, only thing we didn’t care for and was disappointed in was the crème brûlée, it’s not your typical traditional crème brûlée but everything else was wonderful. Will be back for sure!“

“For Valentine's Day weekend, my wife and I dined at the historical and exquisite Knife & Fork Inn on Friday, 2.13.26, since the 14th was totally booked. It was her first time there and mine since childhood. The menu was so extensive that it made it a bit of a welcoming challenge to focus on a particular choice. For starters, our huge portion of the Corn & Crab Chowder was the best that we have ever had and the Artisanal Cheese Plate was delectably wide-ranging. My wife loved the Halibut and my Bone-In Pork Chop was superb. Our cordial and diligent waiter, Carmen, who took service to the next level, suggested the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert and we were very glad that he did as it was perfectly sized to share! Before we arrived, I mentioned to my wife that this would be a top dining experience and it was more than that with the historical ambiance, service and the spectacular menu options. We will definitely be back to try some more of their varied cuisine!“

“We had dinner at Chef Vola’s on 9/17/25 to celebrate my Birthday. What an excellent dinner and experience. The service is wonderful and our head waiter Anthony is a great guy who provides the best service. The food is beyond comparing it to another restaurant. My wife had the salmon with special sauces that she said was the best she ever had. The bone in veal parmigiana was the best I have ever had by far and there is no comparison. We had the blush pasta which also was outstanding. Our sincere gratitude to the Chef Vola staff for making my birthday extra special.“

What started out as having a couple of drinks ended with many more and a great, upbeat afternoon! Katie was bartending and she was OUTSTANDING! That young lady was ebb and flowing and never skipped a beat and she never stopped being busy while we were there. “Best Soul Food that I’ve ever had. Huge portions We got the steamers as an appetizer, served in a perfect garlicky broth. We had a fun and energetic server, named Ray. I was debating between the fried chicken or the smothered pork chop and he said “well, Popeyes is everywhere, get the Pork chop” The pork chop did not disappoint! Perfectly seasoned, crispy smothered in gravy and onions. For sides, we both got the Collard Greens, I got the yams and my husband got Mac and Cheese. Best Collard Greens ever! “We were 10 and got seated pretty quickly by the jukebox. The music was my jam. The restaurant was somewhat busy and it remained quiet. The food came all at once, the food was good and the prices are decent. The waitress was good, friendly and knowledgeable.

They offer a variety of authentic German beer. The food is mostly more German inspired than authentic, but the Bavarian Pretzel is actually very authentic.

“Oh me, oh my! Where do I begin? I booked the Claridge for a convention that I was attending and truly did not expect the gem my family and I would find at The Twenties Italian Bistro. The hotel in general seemed relatively empty so we didn't have much expectations to be honest. When we arrived, it appears to be a very beautiful space that matches the hotel. There was only one table of 2 and we weren't quite sure if they were even open. However, a gentlemen named Jose appeared from the kitchen and greeted us warmly as he sat us. We reviewed the menu and were a little stressed to see the menu did not offer pizza which is what we promised our 4 year old daughter. Jose immediately replied that he would speak with the chef and see what could be done! Sure enough he came back and stated the chef could accommodate us as best as he could. We then ordered from the Taste AC prefixe menu to be able to share more dishes between my wife and I. WOW! Our appetizers were the heirloom tomato bruschetta and the Italian long hot roasted peppers. The bruschetta was fantastic and while I was a bit skeptical about the peppers, the flavors blended amazingly. Next was the mixed green salad which was flavorful yet light and the caprese salad which truly delivered. We were already extremely satisfied and now anticipating our entrees! We ordered an apricot glazed organic chicken filet that sat on fingerlings and was topped with Swiss chard...omg lol At first my wife was hesitant about the idea of an apricot glaze but once she tried it, it was hard to get the plate back. Then, the next entree truly stole the show. A creamy black risotto with 2 lamb chops. If I could have ordered a bucket of this risotto, I would have. It was truly INCREDIBLE! The lamb chops were perfectly cooked as well. Then finally dessert came out which was 3 flavors of gelato and 2 cannolis. First, let me say this, I am not even a sweets guy but this was fantastic. I loved the strawberry gelato as well as the chocolate which was so rich. I believe the other flavor was vanilla but I was already I love. And then the two cannoli's which must have been made on the spot which operationally I don't understand, but I also can't see how those are not absolutely fresh to order. Cocktail wise, I had a winter old fashioned that had hints of ginger and cinnamon and it was great as well but didn't come with a big cube unfortunately. As we were ready to settle up, Chef Craig Johnson came out to greet us as well and ask if our princess enjoyed her pizza! What a delightful man. He had a great energy and smile and his passion for his work really came across in his hospitality. This was truly the highlight of the trip and being from the industry, I don't say this lightly. Thank you again to Craig Johnson and Jose for an amazing experience at the Twenties Italian Bistro!“

And the Delicious Carrot Cake 🍰 🥕is no longer available! I hope they bring BOTH these items back in the future! Our cashier Saba was wonderful and understanding. There was a killer band outside playing - father/daughter duo who were amazing and a sax player too!
