“For Valentine's Day weekend, my wife and I dined at the historical and exquisite Knife & Fork Inn on Friday, 2.13.26, since the 14th was totally booked. It was her first time there and mine since childhood. The menu was so extensive that it made it a bit of a welcoming challenge to focus on a particular choice. For starters, our huge portion of the Corn & Crab Chowder was the best that we have ever had and the Artisanal Cheese Plate was delectably wide-ranging. My wife loved the Halibut and my Bone-In Pork Chop was superb. Our cordial and diligent waiter, Carmen, who took service to the next level, suggested the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert and we were very glad that he did as it was perfectly sized to share! Before we arrived, I mentioned to my wife that this would be a top dining experience and it was more than that with the historical ambiance, service and the spectacular menu options. We will definitely be back to try some more of their varied cuisine!“

“We had dinner at Chef Vola’s on 9/17/25 to celebrate my Birthday. What an excellent dinner and experience. The service is wonderful and our head waiter Anthony is a great guy who provides the best service. The food is beyond comparing it to another restaurant. My wife had the salmon with special sauces that she said was the best she ever had. The bone in veal parmigiana was the best I have ever had by far and there is no comparison. We had the blush pasta which also was outstanding. Our sincere gratitude to the Chef Vola staff for making my birthday extra special.“

“Everything was great. We got appetizers at 4pm and could not order certain meals until 4:30(weird) About 4:30 until we couldn't take it any more, we took the balance of our early dinners with us. At 4:30 we noticed the restaurant started filling with flied. First near the floor on my leg then on the back of our seats & table & all around our food. The restaurant was clean to your eye but being in the food service business, Since they were serving food outside using the back door, the flies were swarming in I would suggest bug zappers inside & outside of the exit where they are delivering food. And every so often do a deep cleaning of their furniture and floors, esp under the tables making sure to keep changing the water. Maintence rarely change mopping water from dining area, cooking area & bathroom. And Staff clean tables & booths with the same rags all evening. So like I recommend really deep clean furniture walls & floors & it will help cut down on sticky floors & flies. The food was the best I've had in OC but dealing with the flies was unreal.“

“We love coming here but even with reservations we always wait about 15 mins to be seated. That's fine but there is no place to wait comfortably. “Visiting Atlantic City for the first time and was thrilled to not only find vegan options, but fun vacation food at that! He had the cheezsteak (oh that roll was SO soft and yummy) and I had the gyro. The staff were so gracious- making sure I had extra tzaziki sauce (even though my ticket and receipt both said it was on the gyro and I hadnt looked at it!). We got the brownie, made by Greystone Bakery that employs people who have had hiring challenges. It was so good we ordered more food to take back to where we are staying. Definitely recommend if looking to grab plant-based breakfast or lunch!“

“All said and done I think this is the best deal on the boardwalk. Their price and food speaks for itself. You order up front and sit down and pick up your food when it comes out. They cut out the wait staff and it’s pretty efficient and also keeps the price down in the end. There’s been a lot of people saying this pizza was the best deal on the boardwalk for the summer of 2026. I finally gave it another chance after trying it many years ago. This place definitely is satisfactory. The only improvement I can suggest is when you serve Pepsi products, Birch beer has to be an option. It’s at just about every other Pepsi serving restaurant on the boardwalk. Birch beer by Pepsi is delicious and quite popular everywhere else and seeing they served Pepsi products and finding out they don’t serve birch beer like every other restaurant that serves Pepsi, was disappointing. But far from enough to keep me from giving less than a 5 star review. The place is pretty darn good in such times and they have definitely improved a lot since my first time there.“

“bad experience at Vicks yesterday. The cheesesteak looked nothing like the pictures on their site. The meat was not flavorful. not chopped up enough. The cheese was just laid on top of the cheesesteak and came off when I took off the paper. they forgot my mushrooms and they didn't even cut it in half. I'm really surprised that the reviews are so high. I even paid the money for the extra meat?“

“The spicy tonkotsu ramen was very flavorful and delicious, and had a large portion of maybe the best chashu pork I’ve had. Our waiter was friendly and likable, but he was the only server there on a Friday night so the service was slow. They definitely could have benefited from having another server working with the number of tables they had full. I would go back for the food and hope the service was a little faster next time!“

Today we ventured to Egg Harbor Township and the Shop Rite Shopping center to find a local spot to have a fabulous lunch & voila we actually found THE Local Spot Restaurant! A Breakfast & lunch haven open from 8 am to 3 pm everyday of the week! As we ventured in we see booths and a welcoming counter and in the back many more spacious tables. Joining yours truly today was my travelling companion always my Nan and her cousin Theresa. We get Nicole a very engaging young lady who would be our server today and then we also met Danielle and we were doubly happy! Great young ladies who did not just robot the order they were informative, enjoyed the banter and actually were both a breath of fresh air from the normal may I help you no personality people many of you have said to me you are not happy with! It's always nice to smile when greeting your customers! I started off with the lentil soup and the ladies had the appetizer sampler with Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks & Jalapeno Peppers. Lunch was the Corned Beef Grilled Reuben, Grilled Chicken Gyro and for yours truly it was the Big Boy Cheese Steak with Fried Onions & Peppers! We gave the meals six thumbs up! We also gave our servers a standing ovation. And they are so easy to find. Heading east on the black horse pike you'll see the shopping center entrance just past the Burger King. Turn right and go to the end of the road & it's right in front of you! Find a place to park, walk in and get ready for a great breakfast or lunch. We all had to get boxes as the portions were to say the least generous. We met Steve at the main window and he's handling the abundance of take out orders and if you want to join in for a take out call 609-568-5197 but the recommendation here is you make time to visit not just a local spot but THE Local Spot in EHT and ask for Nicole or Danielle. It was a great time had by all of us and as we left they even reached out to say goodbye and in todays culinary world that's not the norm. Total for a tremendous lunch for three right about $50. “This Place was the best place I ever went to in Atlantic City outside the casino areas. What a vibe. It makes you not want to get out of your seat. Reminds you of your Sunday family dinners with an explanation point. So much fun and attention to making sure you come back. New owners are from South Philly and are a blast to be around.
