“It is very seldom that I leave a review or comment but IT WOULD BE SELFISH OF ME TO NOT SHARE THIS GOOD OL’ FOOD. The soul food is bomb, I had the Cheese steak rolls, Cabbage, and butter corn) and the African food was just how I like it , a little spice but not to much to were I couldn’t not enjoy it (Potato Greens and Rice). If you are in the 69th street, Darby, south west area and have not tried JC Afrosoul food, then Please get there now !!!! “Everything was very good, but the oxtail and plantains were 🔥! We had oxtail, rice and beans, jerk chicken, plantains, yams. The restaurant looks nice and is clean and service was A+. We will most certainly be back, Lord willing.

“Nice spot good vibes and music. The place was packed on a Friday night but my friend and I didn't wait long. Our waitress Sid was excellent and very accommodating. She had great recommendations and let us sample the frozen dousse cocktail. We had the catfish Mac and cheese, collard green dip and gumbo. Everything was delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.“

The food is delicious too! I’ve tried the wraps, chkn salad, and hoagies and highly recommend. Also tried both soups, “fish” stew, drumsticks, jerk chickpeas and curry chickpeas, and chkn with gravy which were DELICIOUS. favorite sides are cabbage, collard greens, and Mac n cheese.“

“Oyster House Philadelphia is a must try! The Oysters Rockefeller were seasoned to perfection, and the crab cakes were packed with lump crab and very little filler. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and I'm already looking forward to going back.“

“This was our first time at Terrell's restaurant in Chester. When we walked in Lamar welcome us and was very pleasant. I had the cat fish with cabbage and candied Yams and it was amazing. Please try Terrell's in Chester, you will not be disappointed.

“This was a neighborhood lounge. We were from out of town. The place was clean, friendly people, food was really good, drinks were great. Nice 40 and over crowd, Dj was rockin R&B music. We were referred to this place by a business owner in da area. We will come back. We were there on 12/22/21.“
