“Nice spot good vibes and music. The place was packed on a Friday night but my friend and I didn't wait long. Our waitress Sid was excellent and very accommodating. She had great recommendations and let us sample the frozen dousse cocktail. We had the catfish Mac and cheese, collard green dip and gumbo. Everything was delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.“

The food is delicious too! I’ve tried the wraps, chkn salad, and hoagies and highly recommend. Also tried both soups, “fish” stew, drumsticks, jerk chickpeas and curry chickpeas, and chkn with gravy which were DELICIOUS. favorite sides are cabbage, collard greens, and Mac n cheese.“

“The service looks good. The food smelt wonderful. The atmosphere of the actual business need a makeover. It just need a business makeover. Everything in there looks old grimy and Dusty old papers. Old metal. It's dark and dingy. Looking from the outside it just need remodeling for us place that serves food. “I was there for a breast cancer survivor party, and it was my first time, I had the best time ever and am looking forward to going back again. I thought you opened early but see your hours start at 5pm. I have a girlfriend that wants to celebrate her birthday there November 2, 2024, so I plan to call and make arrangements for us to celebrate there this Saturday. I give this restaurant a five plus.“

Sides collard greens and Mac and cheese were tasty, was nervous because they were Asian but it was good, I would buy it again. No real complaints about the food at all. Glad I tried it.“

Easy contactless pickup during the pandemic! Give her a call if you want some soul food but don't feel like cooking. *Only thing is, you need to pay cash in the exact amount if you don't use apple ipay.“

“Bbq food is very good but the owner(preacher) talks to people aggressively, rude, angry and not a good listener. He definitely does not smile or greet you with kindness when you enter the store. Needs to work on people skills with expand his business alot more.“

So I saw Butter's Soul Food listed and I sent an email asking about catering for about 30 people for ribs, mac & cheese, fried fish, and potato salad.

Kevin Bell responded to the email in a timely manner, and I asked for a price for the 4 things I listed.

I confirmed that I would be picking the items up on what date & time and didn't need them to set up anything.

He responded again in a timely manner with pricing, and decided to go with a contract with him.

All I'm saying is the event was 8-22-26, and people are still talking about how good all the food was, but wanted to know where I got the mac & cheese, fish, potato salad, and ribs from. All the food was seasoned very well, and my mom who is a very good cook raved about all of it especially the potato salad.

I had never done any business with Butter's before, and if I have another even I would definitely go back to them again.

Also the date I was to pick up all the food it was ready on the date, and time agreed on“
