“I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

“I was so excited when I discovered that Brewerytown Bakery is completely vegan. I’ve started going on occasional weekend mornings for a London Fog boba and a loaf of bread. This morning I treated myself to a breakfast sandwich too. It was so delicious! If you’re ever in the area, you’ve got to check them out. 💜“

“Did an online order for a birthday cake and cupcakes. Probably should have called to confirm but just trusted it would work out. Friends picked up the cakes and brought them into the party. Our guests mistakenly thought the friends that brought the cakes had baked them. These poor friends were inundated for the rest of the party with demands to know their recipes and their baking secrets. The cakes were apparently SO GOOD. I can’t attest because once word spread, the cakes were swooped up like toilet paper in 2020. Can’t wait to actually try them on our next party when I plan better and hold back a secret cake stash.“

“I would grittyerally go here every day if I could, and now their new location is closer to me, so I don't even have to go all the way up to Manayunk to get the world's best sweet treats. Every time I need a birthday cake for someone I come here. Also did you know their head chef was the chef in residence at the Philadelphia Museum of Art??!“

“We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this gem! The food was delicious and the staff was kind, inviting and friendly! Our waitress has friends and family from our area back home so it was nice to have that connection with her! Highly recommend and we will be back for sure next time we visit the Philadelphia area!“
