“Pasta making class Olivia was excellent. She understands the regions of Italy and was able to prep and explain with ease and grace. A participant asked about cacio e pepe, which was not on the agenda, and Olivia quickly prepared the basic but difficult to nail sauce. It was spot on. Would def recommend HBB to friends and family. One suggestion though - supplying guests with aprons would be helpful!“

“Incredible ice cream, but extremely disappointing to see a lone employee left to deal with a line of 30+ people, on Labor Day at that. Would be great to see more appreciation for employees, we felt so bad for the girl working. Her attitude and ability to stay calm was impressive and inspiring!“

“Reminds me of snow cone places back home! Snack options and I love the water ice options and flavors! I can’t remember which flavors I had, it was guava and 2 others. DIVINE! Super nice staff too! However, I’ll pass on the pizza pretzels. I’m not from here, so keep that in mind.
Would go back either way.“

“The staff are great and the treats are high quality, fresh and top tier. Siddiq's water ice is unique because it's made with real fruit and the flavors are all amazing. There's no other place like it in the city. You don't have to feel guilty about allowing yourself or your children to indulge in his water ice. I love the blueberry the most but honestly all the flavors are amazing. It's hard to choose.“

“ICE CREAM…When you need the real thing, made with high quality ingredients and masterfully blended, Zsa’s is your place. No artificial ice milk with pretend ingredients just incredible and delicious ice cream…. Yes with real cream!! Every time I come to Philly we visit our favorite ice cream store. My wish would be that they have more outside seating. IF you are gluten free try their ice cream cookie sandwich which was so wonderful that I don’t know the high value adjectives to describe it. Just try it.“

“This place is Always busy!!
I have tried water ice, hand dipped ice cream, soft serve ice cream, pretzels, hot sausage.
The ice cream and water ice are served cold, its not melting all over the place when you get it, the pretzels were warm and soft , the hot sausages were very good!
Sometimes there is a line at the windows, it moves quickly!
You get a good sized portion for the price
They have sizes from small all the way up to quart
( water ice )
The water ice and ice creams are very flavorful!“

“My Brother had been wanting to go there….so we pulled up today. I got a Strawberry Milkshake with whipped cream and a cherry on top. The presentation was beautiful. And it was delicious. I got a Fruity Pebbles Milkshake for my Daughter and it was delicious and looked amazing. I will definitely go again and try something different. Service is amazing! The young lady was very courteous.“
“Cool local spot for unique ice cream creations and old fashioned soda fountain drinks. Also sell a limited selection of baked goods from their partners a few doors down at Shane Confectionary. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.“
“This is a 10! One of the richest creamiest ice cream I've tasted made with REAL fruit in small batches. The flavors are to be found no where else. And she will make custom flavors with enough advance notice and large enough quantity. Eat Ice Cream!“

“Not only is the ice cream delicious, but it also comes in a variety of creative flavors. The atmosphere of the store is nostalgic and inviting, which makes the visit even more pleasant.
I can only recommend the chocolate ice cream - it's rich and creamy, just heavenly! The staff are friendly and helpful, making the entire visit a great experience.“
“I've been waiting on this location to open up and boy was it worth the wait!!! Dre's has the BEST water ice and ice cream in Philly... and if your looking for gourmet ice cream try the sweet potato pie or banana pudding flavor they are to die for I noticed it at the retail location but it can also be found at all Browns Family Shop-rite stores.“

“Varallo Brothers Bakery is an absolute gem! This old-school American-Italian bakery truly captures the essence of authentic, homemade goodness. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, but the standout for me was their pistachio ice cream—easily the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were so rich and natural, it tasted like pure heaven in every bite. The pastries, cookies, and breads are all freshly made with that perfect balance of tradition and quality. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on flavor and charm, this is it. A must-visit bakery!“

“So far only been here 1x. Loved it. The service was friendly and personal and to be 100%honest I didn't really believe the pastries could be as good as across the street and still have great coffee. WRONG ...both phenomenal. I can't wait to go back!!! This time I'm bringing home biscotti. Because is there really a better breakfast than biscotti and coffee???“

“This place is pretty good. They only have a couple flavors I like, but the ones I like are good. The cookie dough brownie flavor was a disappointment when I tried it. The strawberry is just not good--takes artificial. The praline butter cake, pumpkin cheesecake (fall flavor), and carrot cake dulche de Leche (fall flavor) are all very good though. Portion sizes are good. Employees/service is good. Has an automatic door and is wheelchair accessible, although the concrete is kind of uneven and bumpy leading into the store, so might have a little trouble in a wheelchair.“

“Yes I am reviewing a hamburger restaurant.Never dreamed I’d do it; but, Shake Shack is worth a review! I didn’t t have dinner at home ‘cause I had to start for Dead & Co at Phillies stadium. Figured I’d get something safe to eat there and hold my stomach quiet. I saw Shake Shack. Never been. And decided to try it. Burger, lettuce and tomato, hold the cheese. Hold the “special” sauce! That burger was really good. Nice cook. I did see a griddle so these bad boys are not like flame grilled. The burger was slightly larger than the bun which I liked cause who wants to OD on bread. Nice, fresh lettuce and tomato. All groovy. The crinkle cut fries were nice and crispy without being greasy or over salted. That meal hit the spot! And you know it was around $16 which is a little excessive except when you understand you’re in a stadium where highway robbery is perfectly legal. A bottle of water is $5.So Shake Shack is for real in my view. I would go in again for a replay on that burger and fries.Well I can’t give a hamburger joint a 5, can I?But I say Shake Shack is at the top of the hamburger food chain! Yes. It is. Go get ‘em.PS Dead & Co were about as good as they get last night! Thanks, Bobby!!!“

“Really nice small local ice cream shop with about 12 flavors to choose from. The ice cream is flavorful and creamy and the price is fair for the amount you get. Limited seating inside and unfortunately no seating outside, probably because of the neighborhood.
Dietary restrictions: No sure about lactose free options
Parking: A decent amount of street parking

“Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is an absolute delight! We stopped by during lunch and were greeted by a friendly, welcoming staff member. Even though she was stocking when we arrived, she immediately took the time to assist us with our order and made some excellent recommendations.
We decided to try the seasonal passion fruit ice cream and the Earl Grey tea flavor. Both were phenomenal! The ice cream is clearly made with high-quality ingredients, resulting in a rich, creamy texture and vibrant flavors. The passion fruit ice cream was particularly spectacular—refreshingly tangy with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s a flavor that truly stands out among their impressive variety.“

“My visit to this Frozen Rolled Ice Cream Shop was a truly delightful experience. It was fascinating to watch the ice cream being rolled right before my eyes, showcasing the impressive skill of the staff.
One of the highlights was the abundance of toppings they offer. They're very generous—you get to choose three toppings, and they don't hold back, ensuring each bite is packed with flavor and texture.
Being a fan of green tea, I couldn't resist trying their "Hulk" flavor, which combines green tea with Oreo. It was a delightful blend, with the subtle green tea flavors harmonizing perfectly with the crunchy Oreo bits. Their menu features a wide range of options, ensuring there's something to satisfy every taste.
Whether you prefer classic flavors or enjoy experimenting with unique combinations, this place delivers. With their skilled preparation, plentiful toppings, and diverse flavor selection, it's a spot that promises a memorable ice cream experience.
Parking: Limited street parking along arch Street. there are paid lots on corner of 10th and Arch, 11th and Arch, 11th and Cherry.“

I got cookie and cream ice cream with Oreo dust and Teddy grahams ate it outside and can’t wait to randomly crave ice cream and come again ! Highly recommend and it’s reasonable price. Oh my bf got cookie dough with strawberries and mango boba and he liked it a lot as well. Said that he prolly should’ve got vanilla but it’s was still good and he really liked the mango boba. “I visited Surreal Creamery in Philadelphia just over a week ago, and it was an amazing experience! The creativity in both presentation and flavor really sets this place apart. I ordered one of their signature mason jar creations, and it was a perfect mix of rich, creamy ice cream and delicious toppings. The portion size was more than generous, and the staff was friendly and enthusiastic about helping me choose from their fun, colorful menu. If you’re in Philly and looking for a unique, Instagram-worthy treat, Surreal Creamery is a must-visit!“
“Cute little place and a good late night stop. It does get busy. Got milkshakes and they were awesome. Chocolate and vanilla both equally good. Not from the area but it seems like window service is typical in this area. Not really a fan of it though but that’s just personal preference. It didn’t take away from the experience, service, or quality of the ice cream. Staff was friendly and pleasant, would come again and definitely recommend.“

“Amazing! Lives up to the hype. Biked here after a day of cycling in the Wissahickon and it was absolutely worth it. My friend and I split a pint of 50 Shades of Sade (brownie batter gelato, chocolate sauce, salted chocolate chip cookie bits) since we weren't as interested in the available scoop flavors and we could not have made a better choice. I never would have guessed this was vegan gelato; it was very rich and creamy, and had just the right amount of equally delectable add-ins. The staff is very kind and, as we were leaving, also offered us each a free salted chocolate chip tahini cookie as well, which was phenomenal -- crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. I'd go back again just for that cookie. Highly recommend if you're in Fishtown on a weekend!“

“As someone who has egg allergy this is one of the best places to have ice cream. Curious enough, Jeni's ice cream don't contain eggs, which is awesome. The ice cream flavors are so unique and they are all amazing! I particularly recommend the blueberry lavender and the peanut butter one. Great flavors. I just have to highlight that the service needs to drastically improve! There was a line with 40 people and one person working behind the counter. The wait time to get an ice cream was over 50 minutes. Please be more attentive with that.
Vegetarian options: More vegan options could be added to the menu. When I visited there was only two
Dietary restrictions: Two vegan options and most of their ice creams are both gluten free and egg free.“

“Excellent, highly recommended. Came here early evening on a Tuesday, no line and took ice cream sandwiches and popsicles to go. Lemon sandwich and then the Butterscotch sandwich and Mango passion fruit popsicles. The most quiet, peaceful, bland, non ice cream looking shop. Oh well, the food counts. Yummy!“

“Lil pop shop is one of the places in Philly that never disappoints. Stumbled upon this shop in West Philly while on a nighttime stroll and since then have come back multiple times to try their variety of original popsicles. There’s flavors like matcha Mochi, Vietnamese ice coffee, mango sticky rice, watermelon lime, and more! The popsicles seem to be made with natural ingredients and minimal artificial flavors. Their decor is also so cute and cheerful. This popsicle and ice cream shop is sure to brighten your day!“

it’s just a pleasant atmosphere and I’m just grateful that it’s a black on a establishment and I’m going to support them as long as I can. Thank you.
