The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. “Gran Caffe L’Aquila has a beautiful atmosphere and some genuinely excellent products. The latte was expertly made with gorgeous latte art, and both the coffee and gelato were absolutely delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality of what they serve.
Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food and drinks. Most of the staff came across as dismissive and unfriendly, which took away from what could have been a wonderful experience.
The only one exception to this was Luca, who was welcoming, professional, genuinely kind, and knowledgeable. He made us feel appreciated as guests and stood out in the best way possible.
At the end of the day, hospitality is about making people feel welcome.
The rest of the team could certainly take note. If the level of service matched the quality of the coffee and gelato, this would easily be a five-star experience.“

“I went to check this place out after someone told me their strawberry ice cream is hands down the best they’ve ever had. I went with my son and it was amazing! When I went to Mexico one of my favorite treats was the strawberry ice cream. I really enjoyed to street corn, peanuts (Japanese style peanuts made in Mexico) they have the best crunch — has me hooked!) I love the beautiful bright colors and how clean it is. Antibacterial wipes available which I loved. Staff were very friendly. I’m excited to return and try their water ice & get a pint of the strawberry to take home! 😋 💕“

Very cool that their spoons are compostable and sample spoons are metal and thus washable. Love an environmentally friendly location.“

“I absolutely love Kilwins in Midtown Village. I came across this location early this year after going for wine with some friends at Vintage Wine Bar. I got some of the butter peanut ice cream, fudge for my little ones, and chocolate covered pretzels. When I tell you that ice-cream hit! It's so fresh and not too sweet. The hand dipped Graham crackers, pretzels, Rice crispy treats are divine! The seafood chocolates were so good. The chocolatier explained it as having the same consistency the inside as a butter finger. He was so spot on. It was such a different kind of chocolate experience. “I’m really surprised that this location has so many bad reviews. I’ve seen people complain about being cut off from standing in line an hour before close. I think it’s important to note that, with an HOUR wait time in line, the staff shouldn’t have to stay past close to service you. Cutting the line off an hour before close enables them to get through the rest of the line by closing time and to go home at a decent time.

Everyone wants to try a piece of Crumbl. Considering the hype and the high-density population of Cherry Hill and the surrounding area, it should come as no surprise that this place has long lines and wait times.
This is the only location in South Jersey, so if you can deal with waiting, you’re in for a treat.

I came here for their soft opening and almost every week since then. The owner and staff are kind and make an efficient team. The cookies are well-made and of great quality. It’s always really fun finding out what the new flavors of cookies are every week and taking a 6-pack home to share and rate with my family.

I do wish that they had a better system for letting folks in the line know about certain flavors being out of stock. That’s my only note about improvement“

My son enjoyed his ice cream, but I was sadly disappointed with having ordered the hot fudge sunday only to receive vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup and NOT actual HOT FUDGE, which I was expecting on a $6 hot fudge Sunday. 😞. If I wanted chocolate syrup over soft serve, I would have ordered that. I had an infant with me as well and that's WHY I didn't walk all the way back up from my car with two young kids to see if it could be fixed.
