Listen, there’s Italian-American food, and there’s ITALIAN food. Gran Caffe L’Aquila is a legit Italian restaurant and bar. One of my all-time absolute favorite spots! The experienced baristas are legit Calabrian and Roman. They know their stuff. The coffees are superb. The gelatos are award-winning out of this f**** world. Dined with friends and the food and service was spectacular! Our waiter Mimo was the best! His entree recommendations were perfect! I canât wait to come back and try more of the menu!

First time back since the pandemic: the menu has been slimmed down tremendously, and a number of my favorite items are gone. But what is there is still done very well. Wonderful to see the place thriving still!
