Tastes Of The Caribbean Reviews
Food here was so good we had the Mac and jerk chicken! They gave us a taste of the yams it had the right amount of sweetness. Money well spent!!!
Everything was very good, but the oxtail and plantains were 🔥! We had oxtail, rice and beans, jerk chicken, plantains, yams. The restaurant looks nice and is clean and service was A+. We will most certainly be back, Lord willing.
No pictures... we were too hungry 😋

Tastes Of The Caribbean serves delicious food with great portion sizes for the price. The menu features standout dishes like the curry goat, hailed as the best in Philly, and the honey sticky wings, which are fried crispy and savory sweet. Popular orders include the jerk chicken, oxtail, mac & cheese, plantains, and the stew chicken. The jerk sauce is frequently described as phenomenal and everything. The food is consistently reported as hot, fresh, and good.
However, some customers note inconsistencies, such as the jerk sauce not always being on the rice and chicken as ordered. There are also criticisms regarding service, including an inability to follow order notes, calls going to voicemail, and the lack of a physical menu on the wall. Some feel the large size is more of a medium. Despite these points, many customers are sold on the food and state they will definitely be back, recommending the restaurant overall.
