Absolutely Delightful Restaurant!! Definitely can feel the warm welcome when you walk in.. Google list open time at 12pm on Saturday, however they opened at 1:30. We choose to wait based on previous reviews. We were so glad we did! Hostess was extremely friendly as she took our order and suggested favorites. Orders are freshly made with love, and trust me when I say true perfection takes time… The owner knows his flavors! We tried a few different entrees. Fried Shrimp was seasoned perfectly, whiting fish and lemon pepper wings were crispy and tasteful. Salmon w/sautéed shrimp over rice covered in cream garlic sauce was exquisite.. And let’s talk about the sides. The Mac and cheese was definitely mackin, the green beans were tasty, the yams and collard greens were as good as Grandmas .. Each entree was paired with a piece of cornbread, and it was nothing short of amazing. Sweet Soft and specially made.. You can definitely taste the love in this food . If and when we come back to Jersey we will definitely stop here again ⭐️

Platters Seafood and Soul Food was quite the surprise for me but the food was really good. Their name speaks on what they service and I love how the food comes out in a container already which makes it so convenient when you are ready to leave. There is a 18% gratuity charge for all dine-in customers, FYI. The restaurant is also closed on Wednesdays. I got the wing and shrimp platter with mac and cheese and corn. The corn was the best, it didn't need salt or pepper. The shrimp was so clean and jumbo. The wings were fried to perfection and tender and seasoned well. The mac and cheese was good as well. The jerk chicken platter was amazing, very well seasoned. The greens and yams were the true stars. The fish and chip platter was popular among my group and they were very happy with their platters. If you're in AC, make the stop to Platters for some reasonable dinner or lunch! Our waitress was so nice and very accommodating to all of our needs, even letting one of my friends borrow her charger. I can't wait to return.

My husband ordered the Stuffed Salmon with mac and broccoli. The stuffed salmon was mouth watering. The filling was so creamy and flavorful. I myself had the D. Holland platter which was to perfectly fried pieces of whiting and jumbo shrimp. The batter on them were crispy and so tasty. My sides were mac and collards and them collards had the right amount of spice and the mac was so creamy, cheesy, and complimented everything. My oldest had the Self Love Boil which came out with mad love. Sauce hittin, seafood and all its fixing had my girl finishing every bit of it!! The service was amazing. The wait is long but its because everything is freshly cooked. BUT THAT CORNBREAD WAS HEAVEN!!!! I enjoyed the atmosphere and will definitely come back again! ??
A hidden gem in Atlantic city. The food was BEYOND amazing! The server was also extremely attentive. I must admit, I judged this place when I walked in way too soon. But then the wait staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We waited 30+ minutes for the food because it was all freshly done. Well worth the wait. The food did not disappoint! Phenomenal!
