Wish I could give this place 6 stars! Such kind people, showed up ten minutes before closing and they treated us like the most important people in the world!!! Place is very clean and ice cream was delicious! Can't recommend enough. Outdoor seating and a beautiful aesthetic.
Moments ago I went into Island Creamery in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
And I was treated like crap.
Not only was the lady working the counter was rude, and did not seem interested in anything that I had to say. Her manager, some guy working with her was rude, and not interested in helping me as the new customer to their Ice Cream Shop.
Nothing was wrong with the ice cream shop’s bathroom. I needed to use it, she was rude, looked at the guy. The guy looked at me with a wild expression. Shakes his head know.
I reminded that I am customer.
Then he goes no, the bathroom is not for the public. Then I go, “why is there a sign up that says restrooms this way?”
The staff here is very unprofessional.
No customer service skills, bad attitude.
I was planning to buy my staff of
U. S. POLICE FIRE EMS FOUNDATION some ice cream. But after I was treated unfairly.
I did not want to do business there.
I will never go to this ice cream shop again.
They’ve lost me, and my staff as a customer.
I would definitely not recommend Island Ice Cream Shop to anyone that asks.
Sincerely,
T. S.President
U. S. POLICE FIRE EMS FOUNDATION
Delicious milkshake and ice cream - my family took a break from the beach and mini golf to get some tasty ice cream. The owner was great to talk to and let us try some of the flavors.
We stopped by mid-evening for some ice cream and a milkshake, but honestly, it wasn’t a great experience. The staff seemed disinterested and not very helpful when it came to choosing flavors or toppings—just going through the motions. The cones were sloppily made, and even though they gave us cups, it felt more like they were rushing us out than trying to be helpful.
The milkshake? Disappointing. It was supposed to be chocolate and peanut butter, but it tasted bland and overly thick—more like a melted mess than an actual shake. Definitely not something I’d want again.
Prices weren’t outrageous, but for the quality and service, it didn’t feel worth it. And while the Avatar cartoon playing on the TV might’ve been a nice touch for some, it felt more like a distraction from the lack of atmosphere and customer engagement. Won’t be in a hurry to come back.
great ice cream and the people working there are really nice
Keep this ice cream parlor a secret.
They have a ton of flavors and the staff was super nice! Note: Nut allergy flavors were clearly identified but they do not carry gluten free or vegan flavors. Bonus points for the ice cream bird🍦🐦
Great place and friendly
1st time... Great Experience 😋 Thanks John
Favorite ice cream shop!

Nothing special, it's not homemade and it's not good ice cream either. 2 stars because of the nice man at the counter.
