Came to AC for a 3 wheel bike rally and fou d this gem. We ate her 3 days in a row!! The food was that good. I was very surprised by the flavor being used southerners have high expectations. This place felt like home. Flavor from the amazing grits, cornbread, fish, chicken, breakfast, everything! The staff felt like family. 10/10. Love it!.
Kayla and the rest of the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming! My boyfriend and I decided to try 2 platters; bbq brisket, candied yams and green beans, fried chicken wings, Mac and cheese and yams and omg some of the best we’ve had!! I would make the hour and a half drive again, the portions and the bbq sauce were absolutely worth it
My family came across this restaurant after a boat cruise less than a mile away celebrating my brothers graduation and we were blown away. Marie gave us some good suggestions and the chef Rodney delivered!!! The food did not at all disappoint. The cornbread 100/10 that wasn’t no jiffy mix. The catfish perfectly seasoned and crunchy in all the right places. Everything literally melts in your mouth. Dinner was so good we went back the very next day for breakfast and again...
