This was the first time coming to Atlantic City and we went to this place because everyone recommended it. The food was sooo good. I will say that I wasn't crazy about the mac but the catfish nuggets, yams, pork ribs and greens were off the chain. Even the black-eyed peas were really good and i don't even like them. The only thing i didn't like was the peach cobbler, the drinks that were weak and the gratuity that is automatically 20% when the bill is over $100...
First time here. Food and vibe was amazing. Dominque was our waitress. She did a great job providing us with recommendations. I will definitely revisit this place! Thank you Dominque for making sure our first experience was a great one.
The steak was cooked exactly as I had ordered it and the sauteed spinach underneath was tender and flavorful. Luckily, we were able to be seated immediately!--Would definitely recommend.. My partner ordered the stamppot which I somehow totally missed a photo of, but maybe because it was so delicious, The interior is so warm and inviting
