We were booted and suited and had a reservation two weeks in advance. Spent nearly $1,000 dollars. Arrived 45 minutes early and I TOLD the hostess we were here for formal dining in the dining room. This keel off seated us in the bar area. No white table cloth. Definitely ruined the evening and nobody enjoyed much. Steaks were okay.. sides were garbage. We honestly should had just left & gone to knife and fork. One of the worst dining experiences we have ever had.

The food was really good what was disappointing was the failure of the establishment to control other customers with their unruly children.. it made the whole experience from a 10 to a 5.

This is a decent decadent steak house. We did the 2 person porterhouse and it was quite good. The wedge salad was huge abs great to share The $14 asparagus was a rip off - literally 8 spears - cmon now! Biggest complaint was the hosting. We were first to arrive before the restaurant opened and no one was there to greet, leading to chaotic lines. They tried to make us go to the back of the line. Not clear who had reservations and who was going to bar. It was nuts leading to a bunch of arguments. Get your act together management.

We had one of our lovely dinner at The Old Homestead Steak house. Very friendly service, the food was very good as well as presentation. One of the best onion soup we have ever tried. The prime Rib was cook to perfect. Very Tender and juicy. We will definitely comeback

Have been coming to The Old Homestead at the Borgata once or twice a year for a long time. This time it felt like a step below other visits. We had a reservation, but had to wait a bit to be seated and were led at first to the table right next to the noisy bar. (On our request, then got a table upstairs.). There is an extensive and expensive wine list, which we appreciate, and in the past have enjoyed the recommendations of the sommelier. But she was off that night (despite always being there on Wednesdays in the past), and there was no substitute somm in her place. As to the food, the scallop appetizer was a miss. Steak was fine, but hash brown felt smaller than in the past and not as crispy. Overall, it was still good, but I left thinking that next trip we might try some other restaurant in AC.

Service was very good, no real complaints there. Ever in search of the perfect burger, that is what we each ordered. It was huge. The onion rings were good. However, my well done burger did have a fair amount of pink on one half of it. Not what you would expect from a steak house such as this. The Caesar salad appetizer was very good. Will we come back? Probably not. Ruth’s Chris burgers are much better (and more reasonably priced)

Kurt and Baldo were AMAZING servers this evening! Old Homestead is our favorite steakhouse in Atlantic City, but these gents went above and beyond and this time extra special! Keep up the excellent job guys!!! See ya soon!!

We were visiting Atlantic City for my wife’s birthday and also celebrating my Daughter and new Son in law visiting from Korea. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable and we ate there 2 nights in a row. Yes you are going to spend a little extra but you get what you pay for. Both nights we got the ribeye which was shared between 2 people. The Chilean Sea Bass was absolutely delicious. You have to get the Meatball appetizer and the manager Brian actually treated us to one our second night. The Lobster Mac and cheese side is a must have and easily shared between 4 people with some leftover to take back to the room afterwords. Our server Jeff Miller was so excellent and we have never had that level of service, catering to our every need! My wife is a stickler for quality service as she worked for Marriott before she retired and she could not stop praising the quality of their service. Big compliments to Chef Luis and his staff. The wine list is fabulous and delivered by the sommelier Gale. Absolutely the best Steakhouse we have ever eaten at and we have tried many of them all over the world

Waiter was ok. They split a full glass of ice water on my husband and dropped a dirty knife in his lap. Bill was over $800 which would have been ok if waiter didn’t tell us we had to leave while we were finishing coffee because the next reservation was waiting. Terrible

We ate here twice this trip. Both nights were perfect, in fact none of the restaurants at Borgata match up to this, the food was perfect, the wine list excellent, ambience is great, and classy, the wait staff is terrific we especially liked Saul!!

Overpriced, marginal quality steaks. I would compare to Texas Roadhouse quality. the hand cut fries were OK but not hot. I'm thinking our order sat for a few minutes before served, steak was not hot either, barely warm. Lot's of other choices in AC, don't waste your money here.

Took a quick break from the hustle and bustle of real estate to attend an event in Atlantic City, and I couldn’t pass up the chance to dine at the iconic Old Homestead Steakhouse. Let me just say—it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. The ambiance is classic and elegant, making it perfect for unwinding after a long day. But the real highlight? The food. I opted for their signature steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sides were equally impressive, especially the truffle mashed potatoes (a must-try!). Pair that with their impeccable service, and you’ve got a meal worth raving about. If you find yourself in AC, don’t miss the chance to indulge here. Whether you’re celebrating or just need to treat yourself, Old Homestead hits the mark every time. Looking forward to my next visit already!

Leather steak and tough bread. We ordered 2 porter house steaks and the quality was terrible - like microwaved meat. Drinks were decent. Service was decent, but nowhere close to a Manhattan steakhouse.

We sat at a high table at the bar. Had a corner so both of us had booth seating. It was comfortable. The servers were friendly and gave us a good pace to finish our food and drinks without rushing. The tuna tar tar and stuffed scallop appetizers were amazing! Large portions with the asparagus and mashed potatoes side. The steak was good, above average but I wouldn’t give it 5 stars.
Go for the experience, you won’t be disappointed.
