After the restaurant where my husband had booked a reservation well in advance unexpectedly failed to accommodate our party, we ended up at Ruth's Chris Steak House (Atlantic City, NJ) completely on a whim. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise for my surprise birthday celebration (June 19, 2026). Each dish was flavorful and very delicious, and the seamless service made our night. Furthermore, our server thoughtfully checked if anyone at our table had dietary restrictions...
Great food, just make sure you dress up cause you will put into a separate room and not the actual dining room. Felt like we were being punished for not wearing flashy clothes. We had on normal clothes and we noticed others were in the room had t-shirts, jeans, shorts, sneakers etc., I guess our normal button down shirt and pants were not approved. Plenty of empty tables in regular dining room, our reservation was 6PM, we left around 7:30 and the main dining room was half empty....
Jill our server and the Maitre Dee were excellent. From the food to the desert to the wine it was an excellent experience. The steak was cooked just right. My wife and I had a lovely time.
