Great microbrewery hidden away in Atlantic City. Excellent beers. Very cool space. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Good price for the quality. One of my favorites in south jersey.

Aaaaaamaazing! Had a sample of Every beer...all Soo good and so crisp. The environment is awesome and the space is perfect. This place is the new spot for us and if you haven't been..... it's time.

Visit every time I'm in the AC area. Everything from the space, owners, staff and of course beer are excellent. It's always a pleasure to put a nice session in here when I'm in town. In fact I usually verify hours before I book my time in AC to make sure I can get a visit in.

The Seed: A Living Beer Project has something on tap for even the most discerning palate. The thoughtfulness that goes into selecting each locally sourced ingredient, naming each beer, and designing each label is apparent. The tasting room is a peaceful oasis, lined with plants instead of TVs. There are frequent pop up events, usually live music, on site.

Best place to go to for craft beer when you’re down the shore. Great for every style of beer. No liquor here but there is a distillery next door.

Always great beer and great staff

The first time we went to this place we were getting beer to go, but we saw that they had a young man named CJ Sooy singing and playing guitar. He was so talented that we all decided to stay and order some beer on tap so we could hear the rest of his set. The music was excellent, the beer was fantastic, and we like the comfortable homey feel of the brewery, too. We are already planning on bringing all of our friends from Pennsylvania in to see this young man sing and play guitar and enjoy all the different beers on the menu.

This place was the worst brewery I have ever been to. The guy behind the bar was so stoned that he could even give me a full pour of beer it was mostly all foam. Just rude staff in general. The beer itself wasn't that great and the atmosphere was very bland. This is the picture of the beer I received after the foam dissolved.

We checked this brewery out on 5/4/2024! We were in town for a concert (we live around 9 hours away). Got some of their darker ales to go (had to play it safe, more on that below
). Went back on the way out today for a glass I changed my mind on getting and a few more to-go cans. What I got to-go (since it won’t allow pics in comments):“Stay What You Are” - x2,“As Simple As Shadows” (Smoked) - x2,“How The World Will Be”,“Stay Awhile”,“Fiora” - I think that’s the name? It’s an Italian Pils, $10 bottle of Saison. I don’t recall the name.3 diff glasses. My experience and thoughts:It’s definitely a “hole in the wall” (smaller) brewery. I was expecting a bigger space, given everything I’ve heard about it over on Reddit and elsewhere. Nothing wrong with this, of course - just expectations, lol.I tried their “As Simple as Shadows” beer and it was AMAZING. Also tried one of their IPA’a (don’t recall the name) and it was OK. I’m not a huge IPA person, but slowly finding which styles I do like. I typically don’t like the super bitter ones or the ones that taste like a “flower garden”. Yeah, I know. I’m weird!Staff was
OK? Not the friendliest and seemed to get irritated with my questions and asking for suggestions, based on what I like. This was based on both my experience last night and on the way out today (two diff staff members).Brewery was super clean, including the bathrooms!A few things threw me off:They don’t allow tastings. They don’t do flights. They don’t do 5oz pours or anything. It’s all full pours or bust. This doesn’t allow for any experimentation or trying new things and for me, this severely affects my decisions for what to take home. I didn’t get to sit and drink and try everything I wanted because of time limits.I’m usually a big spender, especially if I find a brewery I like
even moreso if it’s out of state - I like to take a lot home, for myself and to share. But
given all of this
it left me with the feeling of needing to “play it safe” with the beer types I feel comfortable with. Which kinda sucks
I’d loved to have brought home something I enjoyed and don’t have a lot of, already. Some suggestions/ideas/room for improvement (Pros/Cons):I know they were busy. But if they could allow tastings in tiny plastic cups (like the little 1oz ones or so), that would cut back on glassware use - just toss or recycle ‘em.Do flights - this allows guests to try a little bit of everything and not commit to a full 16oz glass and perhaps not like it. To me, if a brewery doesn’t do or offer flights, it’s immediately questionable. The overall theme is great! The glassware is awesome, too - just wished they sold the badass glass mugs! I wouldn’t have even cared to have paid a premium for one.I love the “Earthy” vibes and it can for sure be tasted in the beer. I can tell they use super high quality ingredients and the Shadows was the first “Smoked” beer I’ve ever had. It’s very unique and I loved it (got two packs of these!). Smoked Shadows is definitely gonna be my Elden Ring beer, when the expansion releases, haha!Anyway, that’s my experience. Some positives, some negatives. Overall, I’d give the beers a 5 out of 5 rating (based on what few I tried) and the brewery itself a 2 out of 5.I just wanted to put this out there for others and for visibility.
