Yardy Real Jamaican Food

order - Take out I am not sure about these reviews but hear is my truth. I purchased on 5/14/25, 3 orders, 2 oxtail, rice and peas with cabbage and 1stew chicken, rice and peas with cabbage, this total 80 dollars, why I don't know but the prices where not as reasonable as everyone posted in the reviews. I also took my food to go and about 10 minutes traveling back to where I was going, my entire vehicle smelled like spoiled food. I stop the car took it out the bag and smell the food but it didn't smell spoiled. I got home and my entire house smell from the food and it was the same very strong odor of spoiled food. I smelled it again but still didn't smell it from the food, confused, I give my husband his plate of stew chicken which he got sick and through up🤢🤮. The quality of the food was a little for the huge price I paid and the food was blend, no seasoning or spices. There should be a health inspector to go visit this place if you all are servicing spoiled food to customers. First and last time for this place. I have had real jamaican food and I am of the island and they should be ashamed for selling me 3 spoiled plates of food. 🤔🤨🧐🤬👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽, I would recommend!!!

This place is a joke real Jamaican food yeah right. I went in there cause I was craving Mac and cheese . Large container I bought was 7.73 but the container look like a small N he didn't even fill it. Ok I went there craving the same Mac N cheese buy a large again 10/23/24 cause I like to give a benefit of doubt. This time it tastes like left over it wasn't fresh I'm looking for the cheese .butter .milk it wasn't creamy and the noodles was overcooked. Never ever again and they don't use glove at all. They need to be thoroughly checked by the health department and I will call to make sure that happens. The cooks back there wasn't happy they all had mean faces. The only person that was actually nice was the lady that took my order. I will def make my own Mac and cheese but I had Xtra dollars to spend

Very good Jamaican food !
Got a large platter and it was well proportioned.
The white meat chicken was juicy and very favorable! Very nice spice to it .
The Mac n cheese was sooo good !
The cornbread was big . I like that they put real corn in it .
I would highly recommend .
Food is spicy !

This food suck I spend over $70 on oxtails platters waited over 20 mins on the phone for the female to take my order.She told me 25 mins before my food will be done. Get home the food didn’t have no flavor and it smelled sour. Never ever will I get food from there again. I don’t know if they changed owners but the food sucks. If I didn’t live so far I would of took it back and ask for a refund.

So for real don’t waste your time or money! Straight garbage food is not freshly prepared order the jerk chicken and rice, the rice over done cabbage soggy. Order the catfish it’s not catfish I know the taste of catfish it’s a cheap fish like perch! My husband a real Caribbean man and he felt insulted!

I ordered fried chicken platter with two sides (Baked Mac and cheese and beans and rice). WORST FRIED CHICKEN, RICE, AND MAC & CHEESE I EVER HAD. Even the school lunch I had in middle school and high school tastes better than this. Mac and cheese was so bland had no flavor and a weird smushed up texture. Fried chicken smelled bad and tasted so bad, and the rice smelled bad and tasted like regular rice mixed with some grass dirt. Ate 20 percent of my order and fed the rest to the birds outside. WORST RESTAURANT IN ATLANTIC CITY SO FAR. THE FROZEN DOLLAR FOODS AT DOLLAR GENERAL THAT YOU HAVE TO HEAT UP IN THE MICROWAVE TASTES BETTER. Worst money spent. Food was trash.

An awesome experience where we had home made cooked food which is different from eating food with all kinds of seasoning substance.It was more like eating African meals.

I tried Jamaican food for the first time, and it was exactly what I needed to shake things up. The service was quick, and the person who took my order was really patient and helpful, especially since I wasn’t sure what to get. They walked me through the menu and made sure I found something I’d enjoy.

The food was on point. The jerk chicken had the perfect amount of spice and heat – it was seriously amazing. The homemade cabbage, beans, and rice with their special gravy all came together perfectly, creating a flavor explosion I didn’t expect. Everything was fresh, and the chicken was so moist.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try more. I’m glad I decided to try something new, and I’m excited to see what else this place has to offer.
