We had a wonderful experience at Il Posto Ristorante in Avalon. The appetizers were amazing, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Although there was an issue with my meal, the way the staff handled it truly stood out. They went above and beyond to make sure we left happy, and that says a lot about the kind of restaurant they are. Service was great, and the food for the most part was excellent: mussels, calamari, all cooked to perfection, NOT overdone or rubbery, and the calamari has a delightfully light breading.

Pasta sauce was pretty bland, but the chicken cutlets for the parmigiana was very tender and crisp.

We had a fantastic dinner at Il Posto in Avalon, NJ!! ❤️🍴🌊 The food was outstanding and they found us a seat on a Friday at 6pm even without a reservation (but highly recommend making one if possible).

Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and perfectly prepared. The service was excellent and the gentleman in charge of filling up waters at the table was so ON TOP OF IT!!!
