The Princeton is my absolute favorite bar in Avalon. I love everything about it, the food, the bands, and the incredible atmosphere. The only downside is the miserable hostess. I thought a hostess was supposed to greet people warmly and make them feel welcomed. I have been going to the Princeton for years and she is consistently rude, could care less if you eat at the restaurant and is demeaning to the staff. The pizzas and flatbreads were deffinetly not up to par for the area, but the bar has a good beer selection, and the space is very comfortable with lots of seating and fast service.
Nice open space to spend time with family and friends. Casual. Inside and outside seating. Drinks are a little pricey (but it's Avalon) and there is a 2hr parking limit (street meters). We had finger food and drinks and had a great time sitting at the humongous and beautiful bar.
