The Chair has always been our go to restaurant when entertaining out of town guests. It is difficult to cover all the great aspects of this restaurant. The food is always excellent (my favorite are the scallops the best in CMC), the menu includes a wide variety of delicious dishes from bar menus to dinner entrees. The servers are always very attentive; bartenders mix up the most fabulous martinis; the entertainment is just what Avalon has needed for years, and their Happy Hour...
Staff is always friendly but sometimes a bit slow for a drink at the bar. Unfortunately, the food has changed over the last couple of months and yesterday pizza and Alfredo was so bland, no taste. Even the broth

We went there for brunch for the first time. The omelettes and pancakes were amazing! The omelettes were huge and fluffy. So much better then waiting in line at the pancake houses. To top it off we had Jake as our waiter and he was as nice as he could be. He added to the fun! We will definitely go back for brunch.
