“As new Barnegat residents, we stumbled upon this gem while exploring our local businesses. The mussels marinar did not disappoint! My fiancé ordered the soft shell crab franchese, and was also very pleased. The bartender, Trish, was friendly, attentive, and made an amazing espresso martini. We will definitely be East Bay Italian Grille regulars.”

“Everyone knows about the wings and the rest of the great food. This time sat outside with the family in the covered bar and dining area. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and play Cornhole and Connect 4. Great drink and food specials, definitely a go to place after a day at the beach.”

“Ok so you know what you're getting here usually a cold cut hero that is kind of pricey but let me add it is worth the price. The rosemary bread is excellent the plain roll is great as well it has bite to it and it doesn't stick to the roof of your mouth. All of there Cold cuts are of very good quality and cut to order. I will say I've never received a poor quality sandwich from this place and I've been going for years.”

“Amazing chicken parm sandwich. They use hand breaded chicken and it tasted great. The ingredients were extremely high quality. I wish they put more cheese on it, but it was perfect otherwise. I have extremely high standards and Joey D’s doesn’t disappoint. Jay does a great job running this place and was super nice. I will absolutely visit again whenever I am in the area. The dining room was pretty loud with music playing on the TV, but it was clean and inviting.”

Joe answered every one of our questions and even gave us information we didn’t even think to ask. When the wedding got closer he was so amazing with working with me to help me chose everything for our wedding. And the food- AMAZING! It was so amazing that we used him for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. I cannot say enough about our experience with Touch of Elegance, Joe, and the rest of his staff. “Okay, I think I officially found my new favorite spot. I went to Dolce Bagel for the first time on Tuesday and loved it so much that I was back again by Thursday. 😂

On Tuesday, I asked the girl at the counter for recommendations and she suggested the iced vanilla honey latte. I am NOT usually a honey person, so I probably never would have ordered it on my own, but I am SO glad I listened to her because it was honestly one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. I have been thinking about it ever since — hence why I was back two days later specifically for another one!

I also got an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, which was amazing, and tried their lunch special — a gyro with such a fun twist. It was served on this delicious garlic ciabatta-style bread with broccoli rabe, fried onions, fried peppers and chipotle mayo. It had a little kick to it and was SO good. I never would have thought to make a gyro that way, but it worked perfectly. Definitely don’t overlook their lunch specials!

When I went back today, I got my new coffee obsession again and another everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Their bagels are EXACTLY what you want a bagel to be — incredibly soft and chewy on the inside with the perfect texture and seasoning on the outside.

And I have to mention the cheesecake cones. Those things should actually be illegal. 😂 They are THAT good. If you see them, just get one. Don't even think about it.

Beyond how good the food and coffee are, the customer service is next level. Everyone is genuinely happy, friendly and willing to talk to you and make recommendations. You don’t feel rushed or like you’re bothering anyone — they actually seem to enjoy helping you find something you’ll love.

Two visits in three days and I’m officially a die-hard fan. 😂 I have a feeling Dolce Bagel is about to become a 2–3 times-a-week habit for me. Amazing food, AMAZING coffee, dangerously good cheesecake cones, and even better people. Cannot recommend this place enough!”

“Tucked neatly into the corner of a new outdoor mall in Barnegat , Pan Asia is a welcoming Asian eatery that offers flavors of Thailand, China & Japan. They also have a nice gluten-free menu, from which I sampled a salad with ginger dressing and Chicken Mai Fun. The veggies in the salad were very fresh, cold & crisp and the dressing was savory & just a little sweet. A refreshing start to the meal. Our server informed me that their Mai Fun dish is quite popular, and I can see why. A generous portion of rice noodles with chicken & vegetables cooked in a delicious garlicky sauce. Too often, when I’ve had Mai Fun (especially gluten free) the flavor was bland, and I’ve had to add gf soy sauce. Not here! The dish was just perfect as-is, right from the kitchen. Portion was large as well. My friends also enjoyed their General Tso’s chicken & shrimp in black bean sauce.
The interior here is rather basic, with hard wooden chairs that do not encourage you to linger after your meal. But Pan Asia is a great choice in Barnegat, and just two minutes off the Parkway.”
