“Kyuramen was a perfect choice for dinner during a rainy day on the island.The interior of this restaurant has so much character! Individual booths so you have complete privacy while slurping your ramen. Very well decorated and just a very cute place all around. The staff was friendly and we were seated right away. My boyfriend and I came in starving so we got popcorn chicken to start and it was super tasty. Perfectly seasoned and crisped to perfection, this appetizer is what popcorn chicken dreams are made of. The ramen was also delicious, the noodles were nice and chewy and the broth flavorful. Veggies were a little undercooked but still good. I also really enjoyed the bubble tea I got, the milk tea flavor was great and the boba itself was fresh and chewy. I would definitely come back to try their desserts, they look great!“
“Another review mentioned their experience dining in so after many years of being take out only during the pandemic and even after that it was time to check this place out. Friday night and only one other table was sitting down to eat so the service was great and our food came out quick. Their menu offers a nice variety of both Japanese and Chinese cuisine making and I had that feeling that you can't go wrong with whatever you decide to go with. Gut instinct was right on tonight as the appetizers and specialty sushi rolls were delicious. Crispy duck bao bun app had the perfect sauce and it wasn't too filling. Def light on the duck portion but taste was there. Pan fried dumplings could have had 3 orders of those.. really tasty stuff. They offer Japanese soda which I hope more places start to carry. Wasabi roll and lobster roll with a mango sauce were expensive at close to $20 each but that's standard issue these days. Zen sushi was very clean and doesn't depress you like the new Makoto does. Will be back and being one block off the beach I can only imagine they get packed in season.“
“Food is delicious here even though they seem to get our order wrong in some facet or detail quite regularly. My wife and I endearingly refer to this as Asian Castle Bingo and feel its a fun kind of roguelike take to ordering our meals. I love surprises!“
