“If you’re looking for delicious Japanese comfort food, this place is definitely worth a visit. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and the spicy crab inari, and both were absolutely amazing. The tonkatsu ramen had a rich, flavorful broth with perfectly cooked noodles and tender toppings that made every bite satisfying. The real surprise, though, was the spicy crab inari—it was the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy, and quickly became my favorite dish of the meal. The quality of the food, attention to detail, and great flavors made for an excellent dining experience. I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend!“

“Loved this place. This place was packed and I was so lucky to have a reservation for my date. We loved the food, not even lying when I tell you it was the freshest sushi I’ve had in a while. We went on the 17th and it was super busy, the staff worked so hard and still made us feel so welcomed.“

“Really great food- we had the shrimp fried rice, noodle bowl and wings (salt + pepper). All meals were so tasty even the spring rolls! Wings were crispy, well seasoned and tasty. Restaurant staff are very nice and welcoming. We sat in, only 4 tables. It was a good dining experience not like a sit down restaurant for example you order at the desk, and there’s no waiter. So casual and lovely vibes! Definitely recommend and will be ordering again!!“

“Recently tried DOHO when when trying to order tacos from our usual places on Cinco de Mayo but the kids didn't want to wait 2+ hours and couldn't have been more impressed with this new hidden gem in Mt. Airy. Creative dishes and everything we ordered was delicious. Only tried about half the options between our family of 5 so definitely need to order again soon!“

The crispy stir-fried meat was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender inside, coated in a rich savory-sweet sauce with peppers and onions that added a nice crunch. The pickled pepper fish soup had a bright, tangy broth with just the right amount of spice, and the fish was incredibly tender. We also had the clam steamed egg, which was silky smooth, comforting, and full of umami from the fresh clams.
The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted high quality, and each dish had its own unique flavor. If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine with bold flavors, Spice Bistro is definitely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!“

“Was here recently for a colleague’s birthday party. They rented a private room with food + bottle service. Off street parking was definitely a huge plus. The staff was very attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the place seemed pretty chill. My only critique is the karaoke interface is not very intuitive, and the selection for ACTUAL karaoke/instrumental tracks are very limited because they only use Spotify for the music. It’s more like a sing-along than karaoke. I would suggest using youtube instead of spotify because YouTube’s selection of music for karaoke is far superior. Other than that, the place is great!“

The dumplings were tasty (try the duck!), but my steamed and seared dumplings were a little softer than I'd hoped- not the end of the world. My friends got fried ones and they were light gold and crisp but not crunchy, and that will be the way to go. The containers the food comes in look great for takeout, and the dining area was clean. Hands-off ordering means those with social anxiety have nothing to fear here. A solid choice for the price, and some tasty lunch offerings.“
