I’ve been going here for years & they never disappoint. They’re consistent in the flavorful, freshness of their food! I ordered pickup through Uber eats as I haven’t had them in a while & Of course they still didn’t disappoint. They were so quick with making the food! It came fast & was packaged with care! “Finally! I have tried soooooo many Thai places in Philly. And while some are great eat in, I struggled to find a great take out spot.

This spot rocks! Delicious. Super spicy when requested. Great portion sizes. I’m so happy I found this place.

I got the tom kha, green curry, som tum, and siew. And each thing was super tasty. I absolutely reccomend.

“Order from Doordash and the food exceeded my expectations. We got Drunken noodles, Padsee yew, dumpling soup, chicken wings, and mango sticky rice. Portions were big and the prices were very reasonable. My 2 year old like the chicken wings and the mango sticky rice. The chicken wings were really flavorful but not too spicy. The only small thing was the chicken wing order was supposed to be for 6 but we got 5.

I was late for my reservation (parking is tough downtown!) and they still honored my reservation with no negative attitude. Service from beginning to end was phenomenal. Food and drink was delicious. “This is a very good combination Thai/Chinese restaurant however I think their menu is now abbreviated and they have stopped making the Thai dishes. I have had the Thai food and it was good but usually ordered Chinese dishes which are also very good. They now have very reasonable lunch and dinner specials with choice or rice and eggroll. “I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times, but this is my first time writing a review. I brought my friend here for a visit from California, and it did not disappoint! The crispy chicken I ordered was fantastic—perfectly cooked with a light salt coating on top that made it extra crispy. It was really delicious! I highly recommend this place!“

“I have been going to Johnny Chang's for years ever since Criniti's Italian restaurant moved over (and closed) and they opened. Chang's soon became our go to place as our other place close to us began to only be good for the lunch hour. I have ate in, picked up, but mostly had delivery over the years. I get from Chang's so much, I memorized their phone number 😅 I have brought friends here from out of town and they loved it so much we had to go back a few times when they would visit. I even celebrated my college graduation with a dinner here.

Now for a while as the years went on, we stopped ordering because the food just wasn't the same, chicken (sesame or Tso) would be too hard and mostly batter and what not, lo mein and such were dry, seafood dishes were mostly vegatables. We switched places and they were hit or miss too, not far from Chang's (but they still didn't have the tasty, not doughy, steamed dumplings like Chang's).

So after a few months or so, we switched back to Chang's and now...

THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVER!!!

I always got the General Chang's Tofu (trust me) and have been getting the Pad Thai recently and it fantastic! Everything is saucey and tasty with good portions (usually have lunch the next day) and with a good amount of seafood/meat. I also recommend all thr sushi (especially the Johnny Chang Roll) - and ESPECIALLY when dining it (sushi is best cold when not deep fried 😋)

Whenever we get delivery, it is super quick and even on busy nights, it is delivered at a reasonable time. Their driver is usually a really friendly guy who calls right before he arrives.

I really appreciate how much a place like this has improved over the years in both taste, quality, and customer service and I look forward to frequenting this establishment, whether it is delivery, pickup, or dining in on the rare, but much needed occasion.

Oh, and those tasty steamed dumplings I mentioned - perfected 👌 They have got to be the best in the city, not doughy one bit!“
