“The best Chinese around us. We drive all the way from north Doylestown because their food is so flavorful without being greasy. My entire family loves everything we order from here. The wonton soup is especially good as is the fried rice, hunan chicken, fried dumplings, and pork lo mein! The owners are so nice as is their son who is there whenever I pick up.“

“Awesome place! Ohhhh boy... not only good prices, but...I get the Hibachi sides. I get scallops, then steak. They are healthy and not full of junk; the soft lettuce w a slight dressing or SOMETHING, makes it absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend!“

“I’ve been coming to this place for about 10 years. It’s amazing food for an affordable price and they always have good service. My favorite food here is the drunken noodle, or the sampler which is dumplings, spring rolls, shrimp rolls. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes Thai food.“

“The food always comes out hot and fast, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are more than fair. We come here twice a month or more and introduce this place to as many of our friends and family as we can. Take out is just as good with everything you need packed securely.“

“Food is great! Love that is byob too. Only thing is I am asked multiple times while I am actively chewing food if I was done by the wait staff 😬. This is after I explained when ordering I eat slow due disability also. Other than that it is one of my favorite restaurants!“

“I popped in last evening while I was waiting for my dog, who was at an emergency appointment, at the Metropolitan Vet, which is nearby. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. I’m so glad I found this restaurant. I have phenomenal sushi and an amazing hibachi dinner meal. The service was phenomenal. The sushi was fresh. I was so grateful to have a wonderful reprieve from my emergency with my dog. Thanks so much everyone I’ll be back!“

“Solid neighborhood take-out spot. What I personally like about South Ocean in Flourtown is the variety of Asian cuisines: Chinese, Japanese, & Thai. You can order sweet and sour chicken, or sushi. My go-to dish is the green curry; either with chicken or with vegetables. Very nice staff, quick pick-up, and fairly priced. 👍🏻“

“Found this hidden gem last night! Finally a restaurant that makes good Chinese food! Hands down, the best in Montgomery County. Only complaint is that they do not just stock your bag with sauces or fortune cookies. You need to ask to make sure you get them!“
