“My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. Thanks so much to Rae and his wonderful staff for one of the best meals I've ever had - the best sushi in this area for sure and such friendly excellent service to accompany it! 🙂 Thanks for such wonderful hospitality and all the extra goodies Rae. “We come to this Applebees often. The reason we come here is the staff and the atmosphere. We feel welcomed and comfortable. We have been served by Jason, Teressa, Joe and they are all wonderful. Tonight we sat with Davin. Davin provided excellent service and ensured we had everything we needed. I also want to give a shoutout to the management team at this location. We have met Mariam and Amy. They both always stop by and check in on us. Not only that, but they spend time talking to us. It makes us feel like they are happy we are there. This location is by far the best Applebees we have been at. Kudos to the management team for creating an environment where the staff excels and creates an experience.“

“I was at Boardroom with a friend for the fall cocktail workshop. We've been to Boardroom many times, but this was our first time at one of the cocktail workshops. It was a ton of fun! The drinks were easy to make. The way they had things laid out for each set of folks was super convenient. The portions were more than generous and you could have easily made multiples of each drink. I appreciated that I could also cut the recipies in half since I had an hour drive home after. Trivia was a blast, even if we only got 1 out of 9 questions right. With all of the ingredients for three drinks and a 4-pack of canned cocktails for each ticket, it's WELL worth the price.

I have to give Chris a particular shout-out. There was a large group together at a table and from the very beginning it was obvious to the while room that at least some of the group had already had quite a bit to drink. As the workshop went on the group got louder and louder to the point that it was hard to hear what Chris and Max were saying. They were asked a number of times to quiet down and some of the folks in the group chose to escalate things instead. Chris took the comfort and fun factor of everyone there into consideration and asked the group to leave. They weren't great about it and were taking video and threatening bad reviews. Chris stood his ground and didn't back down because it was important to him that the other 20+ people there were able to enjoy themselves. He handled the whole thing professionally and tried hard to keep the disruption to a minimum. Kudos to him for handling a difficult situation!“

“Ordered delivery and didn't have the food we wanted so we asked for a substitute. When delivered we were still missing food and when we contacted them they asked for us to pick up our food when we were not near and specifically ordered delivery. we were also not offered a refund or anything. Thankfully slice refunded us after contacting them. Our delivered item of chicken Parm was hard to cut into and was uncooked chicken which was disgusting and we ended up throwing it out.“
