I recently stopped by Manhattan Bagel in Bayonne for the first time in a few years, and I was pleasantly surprised by the changes they’ve made to the space. I remembered the comfortable chair seating from years ago, but now the restaurant features booth seating along the wall when you enter, along with additional tables near the counter. Manhatten bagel is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast here in Bayonne. Since I am an early riser I love the fact that it opens at 5a.m. in the morning and that is usually at what time I go in there. The staff already knows what I like to order because I always order the plain bagel with the steak egg and cheese and a Snapple whenever I have a craving for this this is where I go and it is never crowded in there at 5a.m. so service is pretty quick
My first and only New York bagel experience on a recent trip to the area. Despite the bad reviews I was NOT disappointed. The bagels were the freshest I've ever had. I come from a place where you MUST toast bagels to make them remotely enjoyable so this was quite the welcome experience for my family. The humble bacon, egg and cheese on a sesame bagel was DIVINE. The everything was EVERYTHING. The service was fine and the atmosphere was diner-like but I didn't come here...
