This place is great! Fresh food and great casual beach vibes. I always get the blackened mahi bowl with strawberries, pineapple, black beans, street corn and rice and it never disappoints. If you’re uptight or aggro you definitely should not eat there unless you want to change your attitude.
Fave food on the island!!
Great food and beach town atmosphere. The poke bowels here are amazing!!! Don't forget to order the key lime pie for dessert.

Locohana Tropical Grill is a definite must and the coolest place on Long Beach Island in Beach Haven. It is a fun and relaxing takeaway place with superb, amazing, incredible food that is super fresh, super flavorful, and super colorful. The menu features excellent fresh fish, spicy jerk chicken, Mahi Mahi, good fries and salads, endless bowls, conch fritters, coconut shrimp, and seared tuna. They also have a delicious dessert menu and great guacamole. While mostly fish and chicken, there are some vegetarian options like nice salads and rice or veggie bowls.
The atmosphere is amazing with chill music and awesome outdoor seating with plenty of tables out front, sometimes with games for kids. The service is extraordinary. It offers excellent filling meals for less than $20, providing good value compared to other spots. The bowls are expensive but worth it for the amount of food. They also do takeout, perfect for bringing to the nearby beach. It is within walking distance of many shops and Bay Village. Locohana is considered the best spot to get food on the island, creating a Mediterranean-style addiction that is highly recommended for lunch or dinner.
