Amazing service and atmosphere. Had breakfast on the deck and the weather was amazing!! The food is phenomenal which really tied the experience together. This is an amazing breakfast spot and I’d absolutely come again!
The food was amazing! There is no exaggeration saying that every dish was cooked to perfection. That was the best calamari and the La Zanabella chicken dish was amazing. We also had the meatballs appetizer, lobster ravioli, and summer time pasta. The service was very good and all the food came out in a flash!
This is by far the best restaurant on LBI. Whether you are craving seafood (twin lobsters incredible!), traditional Italian food or steak you can’t go wrong. Look at these apps!

Based on the reviews, Capitano Italian Coastal Kitchen offers fantastic food with fresh, delicious seafood and homemade sauce. The location is perfect, overlooking downtown Beach Haven, with an option to sit on the outside upper deck to experience a beautiful sunset. The waitstaff is friendly, attentive, and professional. However, outdoor dining chairs are uncomfortable, and tables outside are small with a crossbar, making them inaccessible for wheelchair users. The bathrooms and main dining are upstairs. Some diners experienced slow, forgetful service with an hour-long wait for food. The atmosphere can feel lonely during quiet times. Prices are fair with decent portion sizes. A last-minute reservation is possible in the summer, requiring a little patience. Highly recommended for the food.
