Joey's is our favorite pizza place on the island. We drive from the extreme north end for their pies.

Wanted to shout out the Joeys delivery guy who went above and beyond last night. We had a scheduled delivery time for 7 pizzas for a kids beach bday party but an accident on Long Beach Blvd was holding up traffic for a long time with no end in sight. He walked those pizzas 6-8 blocks to us instead, no questions or complaints. Super professional. Lots of respect and a major thank you!

$92 for complete junk! Chicken Parm Hero had 1 piece of chicken all bread, garlic bread was dry, burnt and had no garlic. Pizza taste like a frozen pizza out of a box! Don’t waste your money!!!!!!!!

If i could give 0 stars i would due to the ignorance of the staff members. I recently experienced an incredibly frustrating visit to this pizzeria, where the staff completely ignored me while I was trying to place my order. Despite multiple attempts to get their attention, they continued chatting among themselves and making no effort to acknowledge or assist me. It felt as if I was invisible, and their blatant disregard for customer service made the entire experience miserable. My aunt and I then order ice cream and had a man come outside and watch us as we finished our ice cream. As a business owner and property manager of 10+ years, this is very bad for your business. I won't be returning to a place that treats its customers with such disrespect and indifference.

Best Pizza in NJ. Is Joey's Grandma Pie Ship Bottom. Savory sauce, Rich non greasy decadent mozzarella, Thin Chewy aldente Crust with a light crisp from the small wire wrack that adds so much flavor to the bottom. So consistently good I buy a pie to put in freezer at home. This is nothing like the boardwalk pizza with sloppy greasy cheese falling apart ch and mushy tasteless dough with a crisp. Joey's is Comparable if not better than Lilo's in Mt Laurel which that Portnoy El Presidente gave a very high score. I will add a picture my next visit since it's so consistently good. Remember to snap a pic for eating is difficult when your hungry. Pizza best described as Dreamy and Perfection. From the outside looks more like an Ice shop but don't be fooled. Lilo's in Mt Laurel also not much to look at from outside but always rocking for also delivering a crave worthy pie rarely matched. Joey's Grandma Pie is that good that for me it's a destination I would plan a trip just to get the pizza and maybe see the Ocean across the street. (Take Out)

This place used to be a favorite of mine when I’m on the island, but ever since the other location closed, the quality overall has decreased. The customer service is completely non existent. Front of house is the first impression when walking into a restaurant, so the fact that there were several people at the counter and not one person said hello, welcome, or anything was disappointing. Even the what looked to be management, said nothing and just looked through me, complaining that the rush was starting, as if it were bad to be making money. I guess that’s what happens when you hire teenagers who could care less. The girl at the counter didn’t even look at me when she finally did speak saying pick up? I mean, it couldn’t have been more rude. Every person there seemed to be bothered by having to do their job. It’s only $63 worth of food but I would appreciate just a little courtesy. The chicken parm sandwich was a huge disappointment. It wasn’t even a real chicken cutlet, they just threw some chicken tendies on a roll and called it chicken parm. Do not get! Yellow American cheese doesn’t belong on cheesesteaks or chicken steaks either. Pizza was still decent and I like the sauce, but it used to be way better at the old location. Overall I cannot say with confidence that I will be returning. The lack of hospitality is enough for me to tell others to eat elsewhere, as there are many gems on the island. Do better.
