Wanted to shout out the Joeys delivery guy who went above and beyond last night. We had a scheduled delivery time for 7 pizzas for a kids beach bday party but an accident on Long Beach Blvd was holding up traffic for a long time with no end in sight. He walked those pizzas 6-8 blocks to us instead, no questions or complaints. Super professional. Lots of respect and a major thank you!
Best Pizza in NJ. Is Joey's Grandma Pie Ship Bottom. Savory sauce, Rich non greasy decadent mozzarella, Thin Chewy aldente Crust with a light crisp from the small wire wrack that adds so much flavor to the bottom. This place used to be a favorite of mine when I’m on the island, but ever since the other location closed, the quality overall has decreased. The customer service is completely non existent. Front of house is the first impression when walking into a restaurant, so the fact that there were several people at the counter and not one person said hello, welcome, or anything was disappointing.
