I’ve lived on LBI for over 40 years and it’s one of a handful of places I’d be willing to go to when the island is packed in the summer if that helps anyone
I must be honest, my wife and I, and the kids - now adults - have been coming to the island for decades before WooHoo opened but it wasn't until just a few weeks ago that we tried it. We now own a place down in Holgate and with so many ice cream options, we just never had a need to try it. Wow, are we kicking ourselves for overlooking this spot. It's the real-deal. Unique flavors, high quality ingredients. Prices are on par with others, but most everything we have ordered...
The best ice cream you’ll find just about anywhere. The staff is super friendly. They constantly update the flavors and everything is made in house.
We also had a party for our daughter here. They got to learn how ice cream is made and then got make their very own flavors to take home. Such a great experience!!
Miss them in the off season.
