One of the few places that have fish n chips. Fish was crispy and fresh, and loved the fries and tartar sauce. Limited street parking, but additional paking at the stip mall across the street. Outdoor seating was perfect for the weather.
Anchor Tavern is an absolute gem of a spot! The exterior setup with the bright yellow umbrellas is incredibly welcoming, making it the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a great meal. The interior has a fantastic, energetic tavern vibe that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door.

We have been to the Anchor many times and it seems to get worse with each visit. The host and server were both excellent. The food is extremely salty. My son’s meatloaf looked like poop in a bowl. My salmon was covered in mustard and breadcrumbs. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips. I was very disappointed that they removed the veggie burger.
