I had an awesome experience at Windmill! I ordered the original California burger with cheese, crispy fries, and a root beer — and everything was absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the fries were perfectly golden and crisp.
What really made the visit stand out, though, was the service. Kyle was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. He went out of his way to make sure everything was just right and made the whole experience even better. Kyle definitely deserves recognition for his great attitude and customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Pulled up because I had a sick elderly person who needed to use the bathroom in a rush. He has trouble walking so I pulled up to the door. Some obnoxious young employee.or perhaps family owner gets out of his Acura SUV to start his shift , telling me I have to move. Not one customer in the place, no cars I am blocking from getting by and he is all annoyed. Then I park in a tiny , bizarrely outlined spot, in front, and employees are still opening the doors looking at me like I'm breaking the law or something.Now I will make sure I never go into eat. Get a life employees

Such an iconic shore staple should really be careful who they hire. Don’t hire people that will close your store early to accommodate their social life. If the owner says we are open until 10 a customer should be able to show up at 9:30 and get a bite to eat or take home. Not this place. Although the hours say open to 10 they actually close up to an hour early. According to the 1st guy at counter he said his “district manager” called and told him to close early because sales haven’t been adequate. Right after that 2nd guy walks out from back and says that 10:00 includes the time it takes for them to clean everything and he closes early because by the time the oil cools in the fryer it’s 10 and they have to be out of there by 10. I told him he should clean after closing because the store is open until 10. He said “that’s not how it works here”. Happens all the time here. I wish I would have gotten the employees names and posted them here so no one inadvertently hires them after they cause this place to fail because of their horrible work ethic.

Great service. Long blonde hair guy was great. Very funny, enjoyed talking to, and great food. And overall a great person to be around. Would very much recommend this fine restaurant for special occasions. However, gumballs were out of stock. My kid was looking forward to a nice Windmill curved tip hot dog and a nice gumball. 5 stars my new favorite restaurant!!!
