The service was friendly, the food was good and the cocktails were very good. We were told up front that they were short staffed and things were taking a little extra longer. We were seated and attended to right away and drinks and dinner was not a long wait at all.The portions were a bit small but the presentation was very nice and everything tasted good. The cocktail (raspberry martini) was great.
Nice atmosphere. The burgers are good. Friendly staff. We were not aware that if you use a debit or credit card you will have a surcharge added to the bill. Not sure if it's a new thing restaurants are doing but if I had known I would've brought cash. We recommend.

I've only been here two times since they remodeled. Same owners as when it was the Belvidere diner. Family-owned. The place looks great on the inside, clean fresh and modern. The staff is attentive and friendly. The menu is a limited assortment of diner type fare. Maybe a step up. There is a full bar. Both times I went, I ordered a turkey club sandwich and fries.
