“Traveling through Jersey, looking for a place for lunch. Found Uncle Buck's. The nice Young lady says find a seat. Comes over takes our drink order, the first thing you notice this is filled with local regulars. You step back in time. It's such a wonderful atmosphere, having people talking and asking how the family, as first timers you get the friendly look from all the regulars and everyone goes back to business. Ordered a turkey bacon club and a roast beef club. You again travel back, a fully packed sandwich of roast beef, bacon (perfectly cooked) lettuce and mayonnaise on toasted white bread. The turkey club was just as packed full. Something you don't get in some of the bigger places. Top everything off with a root beer soda and they give you a small bag of chips. Prices were on point. Nothing fancy and to wait for service is not a problem, because I would also spent time with my locals that frequent this place for a good number of years. You can sit and listen to the local people and their stories. Great diner, great food and great people. I can't wait to go for breakfast. Give them a try...“
“Went to Luigi Rancho to celebrate my birthday with a couple of friends. I have been there before but not for a long time. Had a really great time. The service was a little slow because everyone seemed to arrive at the same time. It wasn't a problem though be cause we wanted to chat and catch up and we enjoyed the live music. The prices were reasonable, the restaurant was full. The Food was very good, we got large portions, the staff was very nice and the live music was great. “A small hidden gem, just right outside the downtown Stroudsburg area. This place is fantastic.. I have visited many times and every time it has not disappointed at all. The food was delicious, streak was cooked perfectly.. the various wings and sauces are amazing from mild to hot and everything in between, the pizza was crispy! as well as the stromboli...! and the specials are worth trying every time. “I attended an end of basketball season party here, this is such a beautiful and inviting place, it is nicely decorated, very clean and there is ample parking. I plan on visiting again during spring break for lunch. The menu is full of lunchtime favorites for adults and kids and the pricing is very reasonable. “I've been going to 5 points since the 70s. Always had great bar food. This past Saturday, they had a Specials menu. On it was Lamb shank with Rossoto. I ordered it. The shank was awesome. The Rossoto was even better. Texture and taste were out of this world. Vincent is the chef, and I asked to see him. I told him I knew he was a good chef when my wife got her house salad. It was the perfect size and had 7 different ingredients in it. I hope they hold on to Vincent. He is committed to quality and great food.“

The ladies that work there are very polite and accommodate my needs for speedy service on my way to work. Mind you I reheat my burgers 3 to 6 hours later and their still delicious.One time my girlfriend took me to lost ladies grill for lunch. The environment was perfect for a lunch date. “Great food and atmosphere. I originally came in for a Guinness, not knowing I would order food. After looking at the menu, I was torn between the Steak with the onion sauce or the Beef Shephard's pie. I ended up with the second option, which was the right choice to go with my beer--cheesy, filled with gravy, and thick with mashed potatoes. And the food didn't take long; it came within 10 minutes. The staff was expedient and attentive to their work. They have a variety of drinks and beer, but you can't go wrong with a Guinness at an Irish bar. Different TVs have different channels to keep you entertained. 100% would go back and maybe order the steak next time. Overall, 10/10.“
“Great local, dog friendly dive bar with outdoor seating and a view. We arrived after hiking with our dog and they had just opened. Our server was very sweet and kind, and checked on us throughout our stay at appropriate times. The food was solid and what you'd expect from a divey local bar like this and we were very pleased. Decent beer options, their menu was a little out of date as they didn't have the mango cart but not a big deal at all. I wouldn't hesitate to return my next time in the area! Also they have great daily specials. The day we went they had $5 dozen oysters!“
“I stopped in for a meal with my daughter and we were sat immediately. People were smiling, talking and enjoying the day, it was a nice experience. I ordered pork & cheese on a roll with cheese fries and gravy and my daughter got chicken fingers and fries. Our portions were enough that we brought some home. The food was cooked perfectly in my opinion and the gravy was so good I even asked for a container to take it with me. Even though it was a busy time of the day for the diner, our server was very polite, accurately took our orders that came back out under 10 minutes and made sure our meals were prepared to our desire. I will definitely return again, because I loved how our food tasted and how we were treated.“

They make their own homemade sauce and their milkshakes bring all the boys because they make them the old fashion way. Joe steak shop actually uses Hershey ice cream! Can I get any better than this? “I come for the burger, my wife comes for the gyro, my son comes for the nuggets and we all come for the fries. Ok, I like my burgers and have tried many around town, this one hits the spot. I get double california with onion, lettuce and tomato. Light mayo, regular ketchup, extra mustard. I can not find one I like better. Gyro is very hard to beat, 2 meals for some.“
