Most of our dining visits. whether a table for two, or my entire family together at one time, have been top-notch first-class dining. We've enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor dining experience. We've enjoyed trying out each room for dining. We even did the old "kitchen experience table" many years ago as a birthday gift from my family. We, DW and I decided to celebrate our 43'rd wedding anniversary this past Thursday evening. Everything was once again "top notch" as we had hoped. Adn we even helped Bruce at the bar enjoy his 88th birthday! Table snacks and rolls? Perfect! Drinks? Very very nice. Apps and dinner were just as hoped for. Cooked perfectly and served hot and right on time. The music man started laying at 6 and was a ton of fun and I complimented him for his playing and singing "in tune"! Just to repeat; this was The Stone Bar Inn at it best and our servers and dinners and atmosphere choice (sitting in the bar area) made for a perfect 43rd anniversary celebration. Our 45-minute drive was not too far to go for the evenings experience, and we will do it again soon!“
“We took the motorcycle out for a nice "long way" ride today. Live in Northeast Philly. Picked this place thru a random Google search. 80 miles each way. Almost 5 hours of riding. Loved it. As far as Minisink goes, we'll definitely come back. I hate flashy, prefer simple comfortable environments. That's why i loved it here. Nestled on the creek bed. Just felt like a nice place with a nice crowd. Food was great. French onion soup, wings, burger and Roast Beef w/cheddar. All tasted simply homemade. You know, damn good. “We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. The place is historic and old as dirt. But they've done a wonderful job preserving this great venue. Hardly a bad seat in the house. For the 2 nights we were here, the music was top notch. The food is remarkably yummy, the service is great and the people and vibe is fantastic. Our room was cozy and the bathroom updated. The surrounding area makes for a nice place to wander. If you're a big jazz fan or clueless, this is simply an enjoyable experience.“

The subs are a go to over wegmans and wawa all day for travel ball weekends. The last few times I got the cheeseburger sub and it is really good. This time I wanted a steak sub they handed me a 5lb trunk of steak love I actually felt bad for not tipping. Under 13 bucks and you not finish that and be hungry spring for the extra cheese it is 100% worth it. I would love to see them do a chop cheese or the chop sub thing that is viral. Comes over takes our drink order, the first thing you notice this is filled with local regulars. You step back in time. It's such a wonderful atmosphere, having people talking and asking how the family, as first timers you get the friendly look from all the regulars and everyone goes back to business. Ordered a turkey bacon club and a roast beef club. You again travel back, a fully packed sandwich of roast beef, bacon (perfectly cooked) lettuce and mayonnaise on toasted white bread. The turkey club was just as packed full. Something you don't get in some of the bigger places. Top everything off with a root beer soda and they give you a small bag of chips. Prices were on point. Nothing fancy and to wait for service is not a problem, because I would also spent time with my locals that frequent this place for a good number of years. You can sit and listen to the local people and their stories. Great diner, great food and great people. I can't wait to go for breakfast. Give them a try...“
“I've been going to 5 points since the 70s. Always had great bar food. This past Saturday, they had a Specials menu. On it was Lamb shank with Rossoto. I ordered it. The shank was awesome. The Rossoto was even better. Texture and taste were out of this world. Vincent is the chef, and I asked to see him. I told him I knew he was a good chef when my wife got her house salad. It was the perfect size and had 7 different ingredients in it. I hope they hold on to Vincent. He is committed to quality and great food.“

“This is a nice restaurant, My wife called ahead for seating, and we were seated fast. It didn't seem like a busy night for them, but they did have 1 or 2 other tables also sat. Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable about the food availability. My food as pictured was very good. My wine was good. My wife was very happy with the crab cakes. We got the sweetish meatballs also which was really good. We dipped the bread in the meatball sauce .. ohhh yummy.They did bring the check fast lol, kinda seemed a little rushed.
