“We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. The place is historic and old as dirt. But they've done a wonderful job preserving this great venue. Hardly a bad seat in the house. For the 2 nights we were here, the music was top notch. The food is remarkably yummy, the service is great and the people and vibe is fantastic. Our room was cozy and the bathroom updated. The surrounding area makes for a nice place to wander. If you're a big jazz fan or clueless, this is simply an enjoyable experience.“

“We took the motorcycle out for a nice "long way" ride today. Live in Northeast Philly. Picked this place thru a random Google search. 80 miles each way. Almost 5 hours of riding. Loved it. As far as Minisink goes, we'll definitely come back. I hate flashy, prefer simple comfortable environments. That's why i loved it here. Nestled on the creek bed. Just felt like a nice place with a nice crowd. Food was great. French onion soup, wings, burger and Roast Beef w/cheddar. All tasted simply homemade. You know, damn good. “I grew up going to Lewis's Drive-In because it was close to my childhood home so I have been a long time customer. I was always impressed at the selection of ice cream flavors, and the service. I can say that the renovation of Lewis's knocked my socks off. The entire shop looks terrific. I love the design of the playground.It is completely constructed to fit precisely in the area. The picnic tables are well done , and there is a lot of seating room. It is like I never even remembered what the old Lewis's looked like before renovation.i also always liked the menu of salty food, and the sandwiches. I ordered some salty food and it was tasty. The tables were full but they made sure to clean them as fast a possible to get us seated quick. Our server was wonderful and extremely fast even with how busy they were. “My wife I are out of town and waiting for our room to be ready on a mini vacation. This place was tucked in off the main roads to be quiet but close enough to be wonderful. Decent amount of parking. Walking in on our first time you can choose the upstairs dining area or downstairs tavern. It was a touch windy to sit out on the two patios they have but would be great during a warm spring day, summer time or early fall to eat, drink, talk next to the small creek.Both levels have a full bar and draft beer from Shawnee Craft with bottles of mainstream beer. We chose the spacious downstairs tavern, we were greeted by Todd the bartender and presented both food and drink menus. The food the cooks made is wonderful. Wood fired salmon with crisp vegetables was so good that my wife cleared her plate. The burger and fries I got was juicy and fresh the fries were crisp. Todd knows his drinks and is very astute in bourbon. On our way out we talked to Jamie the manager on duty and she talked to us about some of the history and general information of the venue. All the people were very polite, and extremely friendly. We will definitely be going back when we’re in the area again!!!“

“Sweet Creams Cafe is truly a gem for great ice cream and a casual tasty meal! A word of advice, order the homemade lemonade. It’s so delicious, not overly sweet, and you can taste the freshness. “This has been THE BEST dining experience my family has had in a couple years! We were greeted and sat right away. The server was amazing. Gave us a great tip on the best sauce, the spicy Hawaiian sauce was amazing! I think it beat out my love of campfire sauce!!! She was on point with making sure we had everything refilling our fries, refilling our drinks. She brought out our basket of fries before our burgers were ready with all the sauces we asked for. “We had a taste for oxtail and decided to see if our other spot was still in business. With our google search this came up. I decided to read the reviews. The person who comes from Allentown gave us the courage to try this spot. We were concerned that at 3:45 pm the oxtail would be gone. To our surprise they were well stocked and bustling. The food was excellent. We chose 2 xl orders of oxtails with various sides: cabbage, greens, plantains, rice and peas. Oddly enough the cabbage was a little crunchy, but boy was it tasty.
