food is pretty good for what it costs, and the service is good. restaurant is usually moderately busy and i usually dine with a group of 3 or 4.
Overall amazing store People very nice, decent time for and very calm an amazing Sushi 20/10 Must try great sushi!!!!

Nihon Kai is a Japanese restaurant that may be easy to miss from the outside, with a space that feels a little dated but cozy and comfortable inside. It seems to be family owned and run, with a staff described as very sweet, kind, hard working, and impeccably attentive. The food is consistently praised as excellent, incredible, and always delicious. The sushi is a standout, with fish noted as screamingly fresh, so fresh it melts in your mouth, and artfully arranged. Specialty Rolls, Temaki, and Classic Maki from an extensive selection never disappoint. For non-sushi options, the tonkotsu (ask for it as it's not on the menu), noodles, and Hibachi are also wonderful. The fried green ice cream is called the best ever had. The restaurant offers both sit-down service and a constant flow of takeout and delivery, with no charge for delivery when ordered directly. Prices are considered great, inexpensive, and extremely low, with reasonable portions. BYOB is a plus. It is highly recommended as a favorite and the best sushi spot.
