“My girlfriend and I went last night. On our way we stopped at the gas station adjacent to the restaurant. As I rolled down the window all I could smell is the exhaust from the grill and my stomach immediately started to grumble. Although we have been many many times, our go to is the combo plate of a half chicken and ribs. My girlfriend is not a fan of garlic. Sometimes the rice can be a little garlicky but everything there is delicious.“

“This place has become my one of the favorite places to eat in NJ. All dishes have some unique taste to remember. My personal favorite is Half chicken- all dark, Peri peri fries, corn on the cob etc. Clean environment and well mannered staffs. I would highly recommend.“

“WOW! Not only a great price for the huge amount of food but outstanding taste. I got the chicken and ribs with rice and black beans. I did get a side of piri piri(was amazing)to add some heat. The char and seasoning was spot on. Chicken fall off the bone. Ribs perfect for this style of cooking and hard to find where I live. Very well done. Do wish they had Pão de Bico or if they do as an option on grubhub. Wish I lived here as this would be a regular Togo spot.“

“I randomly stopped in here because the smell outside was heavenly. I ordered chicken and chorizo in garlic sauce and it tasted even better than it looked and smelled. The homemade sangria is so fresh and delicious. The employees were all so friendly. Thank you for a fantastic lunch experience!“
