“Food is always good to excellent. Good hard working regulars always say hello; many have become good friends. The Portuguese " Cheers" kind of sums it up. Karokee on a Friday or Saturday brings a mix of music from people who just love to sing and to be around good people.“
“Overall this is a good spot to come after work or the weekend. Have gone here several times and each time was different experiences. Food is always good maybe a tad salty and drinks are always on point. Service is on the slower side but it seems to be food is made fresh. Only thing I don’t like is someone suggesting we give a tip and literally standing around and watching/waiting for it. (Don’t want to get into details on this post) Also don’t agree with staff coming up saying “I said hello but y’all wasn’t paying attention.” Otherwise, I love the music selection, karaoke night and pool table. Family is regulars so I’ll be back.“
“I've passed this place a thousand times and finally decided to give it a try last night, especially since you can smell the barbecue wafting from down the street. I tried the chicken and rib combo with rice and beans and ordered a side of vegetables (cabbage and carrots). The portion size was very fair, and I was pleased with the meat to rice/beans ratio since some places overload you with rice! I thought the meat was fantastic, tender, and had great flavor. For an extra charge, I purchased garlic sauce, and it was absolutely perfect for dipping the meat in. It also took the rice and beans up another notch! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the vegetables. They were boiled and had no seasoning, plus there was still a little bit of water in the container, so the veggies weren't as crisp as I'd prefer. I paid extra for the vegetables, but next time, I'll pass and stick with the two sides included with the meal. Otherwise, it was a great dinner and enough for lunch today (and maybe tomorrow).“

“A very large and reasonably priced bakery that also serves great egg and cheese sandwiches on Portuguese rolls. I also tried the egg custard which were super fresh and not overly sweet. Their coffee was also tasted really fresh and delicious. The ladies at the register don't speak English really well so it may take some time to order your food but service otherwise was fantastic. They also have a ton of seating indoors and was pretty clean. Highly recommend!“

“The space is small, but this is more of a takeout place. The portions are large and therefore you don't need to make many orders and the food is great. Everything is ready when they tell you it will be. you don't have to wait for your order for too long. I definitely recommend as a quick solution if you don't feel like cooking.“
