I am giving this place 4 stars even though I whole heartedly don’t believe they deserve them. The ambiance was warm and cozy, our waiter (Cameron) was charming and attentive but knew when to leave us be, the alcohol options are a plenty. Unfortunately the food was just about the worst meal I can remember having in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection but utterly bland and tasteless. Absolutely no flavor or depth to it and we spent $150 to essentially leave home still...
OMG!!! Trap Rock did NOT DISAPPOINT! Scott was the BEST BARTENDER! He treated his craft cocktails with artistry and finesse! John was also very attentive! The food was YUMMY! We ordered calamari and burrata and were members of the clean plate club. We will definitely be back!
Sat at the bar for dinner. Everything was great. They have a great selection of their own beers all of which are excellent. The Rhode Island fried calamari was nicely battered and the jalapeños and spicy sauce gave them a nice heat. Our entrees, the Goffle Farm chicken (menu item) and the brisket (a special) came from their outdoor smoker and both were outstanding. The raspberry sorbet was also great.
