After a wonderful visit at Peony Envy, we decided to have a quick bite here, at The Station Tavern in Bernardsville. We sat outside, under a red umbrella, at nice clean table. We enjoyed our salads, and mushroom-onion quesadilla. I'd love to go again!
My wife and I got dinner last night at the station after being gone for many years. Honestly, I think the original station was better in terms of food and the atmosphere has not changed that much. The service was subpar.

But the service is what keeps us away. We were almost the only ones there recently. Took a while for the server to come around, and when he did he really pressed to take drinks and food, which always feels rushed to me.
Food was served before the drinks arrived. With almost no one there, it shouldn’t be that hard to enjoy a glass of wine...
