My friend and I decided to try this place out and it was not what we expected at all, however still impressed. As soon as we walked in we got a table. There was a birthday party going on and Dj which was enjoyable to see others celebrating. This place is amazing. I'd call it modern soul food. I usually don't like the food at most restaurants but everything here was phenomenal. I had the chicken and waffles and my husband had the fish and fried grits. The chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection with fluffy light waffles. Those fried grits we're one of the best dishes I've ever had. Creamy and cheesy inside with a crunchy crust.
