Had an amazing brunch here! The brisket Benedict was something special. The service was really fast and so friendly, and I had a delicious mocktail. Highly recommend this gem!
The Winkel is a charming neighborhood breakfast spot. Great service, nice atmosphere and the food is delish! The UITSMIJTER with Avacado mash, smoked salmon, sunny side up eggs with pickled red onion and fresh dill on pumpernickel was AMAZING! I cut into my UITSMIJTER, took one bite and knew I had to leave a review. The presentation was lovely… you’ll have to take my word for it.
Solid place! Nice, clean, easy and relaxing space. Great friendly staff, especially Maggie, who was super attentive! Never had to ask for a refill of water or coffee! We ordered the bib breakfast and a creamy spinach and apple omelette, which they were happy to make with all egg whites. The rye and pumpernickel bread was delicious. Again, solid place.
