“We visited 3J’s Cafe on our first morning in Philadelphia. We were greeted by friendly service and the food was great! The coffee was delicious (just got plain coffee and added our own whole milk) and got some to go. Wonderful experience.“

“I'm a regular at Two Eagles given that it's only a block away from my home. I've been going here for the last 6 years and the quality of the food has remained exceptional! It's a family owned cafe and the entire family is very welcoming. Nadire and her family are amazing and glad to have a great neighborhood cafe like Two Eagles around! Thank you for your amazing food!!“

“Great food and service, atmosphere is nice and close knit. Unique restaurant converted from a residential rowhome. The French toast is amazing and a big plate. My favorite is the FRESAS CON CREMA FRENCH TOAST!!! Must have a sweet tooth to finish that one. Juices and smoothies are also very good and refreshing. Priced moderately but great value.“

“Cozy, welcome little neighborhood eatery in South Philly. Our party of 5 had both lunch and breakfasts. All were big hits! Pictures below was one of the specials-short rib grilled cheese. Should be a menu regular! It was fabulous! A generous serving so tender and great flavor. We’ll be back! A great find!“

“Elegant interior, tailored menu and combos.
Order upfront and served takeout style so easy to go, but portions should be just enough for a meal. Appreciate drink sizes seem like a large.
Best is the like new and clean seating and marble tables and restrooms.
Price seems high to reflect so enjoy a pleasant and cozy seating, at least not too busy on weekend brunch.“

“Brown Street, friendly staff, good food made to order. Zane, the owner is well connected and supports many other small Black businesses. Cheesesteaks rolls are delicious, Fried fish on the weekends are excellent, and the kicker is Salmon cake Sunday. And you are sure to hear the associate Cook yelling FRIIIIED FISH.“
“The bagel sandwich was AMAZING, but the side of bacon was burnt and just not very good, but the tuna was perfection. Decent prices, fast pickup order, parking is difficult but that’s this area in general, and I don’t think I can find a good bagel sandwich like this is Northern VA.“

“I recently visited One Shot Coffee in Philly and, overall, had a decent experience, though it wasn't without a few bumps along the way. First off, if you’re planning to drive, be prepared for some serious parking challenges. It took me 25 minutes to find a spot nearby, and the nearest parking garage was two miles away! So definitely keep in mind that parking in Philly can be a bit of a hassle and may cause delays.
Once I got there, the cafe itself really impressed me. It’s got a lot of personality, with a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that makes it easy to see why people love hanging out here. The food was good, and I could tell they take care in what they serve, but there were a few things I didn’t quite like. For one, the beverage names are abbreviated on the cups, which made it confusing. I couldn’t find my order. They could really benefit from investing in a label machine or at least writing customers' names on their cups to help avoid mix-ups.
I ate on the second floor, which has its own unique vibe. It’s definitely a great spot for a chill hangout. However, I did notice a couple of things that could be improved. First, napkins were not readily available upstairs. My date and I only got one, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the tables weren’t cleaned quickly enough downstairs, meaning there weren’t always spots to sit. It’s something that could be easily addressed with a little more attention to customer flow.
The biggest downside for me was the fact that the second floor closes at 3:00 p.m., which felt like it really pushed everyone downstairs or out the door. The first floor is quite small, and when it gets packed, it can feel a bit cramped. I’d love to see the second floor stay open later to keep those lounge vibes alive for customers who prefer a quieter space.
In conclusion, while I do recommend One Shot Coffee for its great food, personality, and vibe, just be aware of the parking situation in Philly. It can be a real stressor and might make you late, which is something to keep in mind before you go.“

“I absolutely love this place. The food is always amazing, the staff is always fast and friendly. The prices have gone up a little, but that's to be expected in this economy. The waitresses always greets me when I walk in, and wish me a great day as I'm leaving. Veronica is ALWAYS smiling and being friendly. Brandy is amazing! She is fast and proficient at her job. Melissa has been there forever and seems to know every customer as well as their order. This place ALWAYS cheers me up.This place“

“In Philly for a graduation and this place was near our AirBnB. Very happy with all aspects of this establishment for breakfast!! All staff encountered were very friendly and nice, answered any questions we had and we're very efficient.
Food was delicious!! We're from in the woods up in Elk county and never heard of beef bacon and was very sceptical! I decided to give it a try and have a new experience and I'm very glad i did! It looks EXACTLY like pork bacon and pretty much tastes like it. Every now and again you get a slight beef flavor but it was delicious nonetheless and was a very generous portion!
Very clean establishment and although small, feels very comfortable.“
