“Dined in for breakfast on a Friday morning with a large group. Even then, we were able to all seat together by combining nearly all the tables in the space for ourselves. If there were any more people eating in, we would have definitely had to split up, as the seating space is relatively small.

We were able to order and get our food quickly! The space has a nice fun vibe, and there's nice energetic music playing the background on an early morning. One of my pet peeves are places where the music doesn't match the mood of the weather, time of day, or type of restaurant. But they were on point here! 

All the food was fantastic. I ordered the nasi uduk--breakfast rice platter-- and a pistachio latte. One of the people in our group recently came back from a year in Indonesia and he attested to the legitimacy of the food we ate. I don't normally do well with spicy, but I ended up downing all the sambal on this plate-- delicious!“

“I read all the positive reviews and had to check it out for myself. I have always found it difficult to find something as simple as a good breakfast place. But this time i found it! The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The portions were generous and the coffee was great. Thirteen bucks for all that. Perfect. I'll be back.“

“I only get to order from here a few times a year unfortunately, but every time i get something from here it is great. Eggs are always cooked perfectly. They're variety is fantastic. Cupbop is always great and hardy! They are a family and very friendly people every time. This most recent experience was interesting. I placed an online order and went to pick it up and when i got there all the lights were out due to a black out. I saw someone else go inside and talked to the owners about my order, and they still made my order for me in pitch black! I have never had a restaurant do this, ever. Every time i can get down here and have time i will support them. Everyone else should as well.“

“Went in first time today, 3/7/26. Clean, friendly staff. Fast table service. Home fries w/onions well worth value, as well as coffee prices. Really enjoyed eggs, cheese, sausage on long roll. Overall great value. Just wish they accepted credit cards. Definitely recommend this place to locals or others on bus 46 route or L.“

“A mom and pop joint with a kind and clearly smart business woman! At first I was like dagggggg pricey but then I see she gives huge portions and is creative with ingredients. She multitasks and we will definitely be back for pancakes! She also cooks the meat separately so another plus. Just get some ice lol great food!“

“I go here early morning every morning . Between 6am-8:30am for at least a coffee if nothing else . I’ve ordered breakfast and lunch from them. The food is always good. The handmade drinks are fresh. The service is fast and considerate . Never any cursing or rude temple students ruining the atmosphere . It’s really a pleasurable experience . I’ve never dined in but I have ordered though door dash before both pick up and delivery. And I’ve always delivered for them via door dash when I’m making on the side . “Hubs and I are on vacation and we literally just Googled breakfast places near us. We try to eat local when we travel and avoid chain restaurants so we chose this one based on the reviews. And it did not disappoint! The food is great and there’s plenty of it! I had the western omelette and home fries and could not finish it. Hubs got two eggs, bacon, sausage and home fries and also could not finish. The service is excellent, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. A must try!!“

“The food is tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. For a little over $8, I got a platter of scrambled eggs, pork bacon, and cheese grits. Toast comes with it - they have both white and wheat bread - If it was extra, it was only by a dollar or so.
They used to have multiple tables that you could sit and eat at, but not anymore. The back of the restaurant looks like they're renovating, so those tables are not there. That is the only reason I didn't give the atmosphere 5 stars. However, there is one long table up front. There are no chairs, but on it are the various condiments: ketchup, maple syrup, salt and pepper, hot sauce, etc. My fiancé and I didn't want to eat on the train we were waiting to catch, so we ate at that same long table. Standing up and eating was the better option than trying to eat on a fast-moving train and/or bus.

“This was the first restaurant my Grandmother took me to when I came to Philly when I was 8 I am going to be 44 in 2 months. Loyal customer for 36 years. They fed my family for 3 generations. It's not the same owners I started out with but the quality of food never changed and these owners owned it for decades. If you can ignore what's going on outside it's a great stop. The neighborhood changed the restaurant did not.“
