“Found this place about a month ago, and realized it is my local walk to spot! And they've been around for over 30 years! Could not be happier! Been there twice so far, quick and friendly service. The food, simply amazing! I like grits, but often they're either too runny or too thick...finding those perfect goldilock grits is difficult... Train stops grits are just right! Truly the Goldilocks of grits! Awesome place all around, I highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.“

“Nice comfortable eating area where you can use your electronical equipment to complete a task. Food is outstanding, and it comes with an owner who is a complete gentleman with a incomparable niché for cooking. Therefore, my belief is; if you can cook that well, then you should sell the food.

“Stopped in for breakfast. We were seated, friendly greetings. Waitress took drink order, over 5 minutes to get that, she cleaned tables first. Then we got drinks, the placed our food order. It took almost 20 minutes to get our. It was very hot, delicious no issues with that. We also had to eat with plastic silverware in a sit down restaurant. I felt insulted especially when another patron seated after us was given normal silverware. Also another couple came in and sat down behind us, got drinks, I know they placed their order but they got up and left due to the length of time they were waiting for food. While the food was hot and delicious I could not go back here due to the time we had to wait for food. Plastic utensils are for take out and fast food, not IHOP.“

“Obsessed with this place. I got the avocado sunshine this morning and it may be my favorite breakfast dish in Philly. The pickled onions on this amazing bread with avocado and topped with a perfectly cooked egg was so freaking good. Great coffee too. Every meal I’ve gotten here has been amazing (their banana bread is so good fyi) but this was the best. I love this place so much!“

“Today I stopped at The Hungry A. I have driven buy there many times. As I walked in the owners and people in there all greeted me like they know me. I had a coffee and it was one of the best I ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will be be back. But what really got to me I walk with a cane and one of the girls there saw I was having a hard time she came around the counter and took what I was carrying and helped me to my car. Today there are not many people that are kind as she was. It made me know that there is still kind people in this world. If every would take the time to be kind to someone just once maybe it could be a start to make this world just a little better“
