“We’re frequent customers at the Montvale, New Jersey, store, but this was our first visit to the Christiana (Delaware) First Watch. Spectacular food and spectacular hospitality from our server, Vanessa! I always get the ‘Traditional’ breakfast and a blueberry pancake. So yummy! My wife loved her ‘Farmhouse Skillet Scramble’! “First watch offers some decent options. One does not come to first watch for the coffee. The food was good. Our waitress took very good care of us. She even provided us with some alternatives to our original orders which were good. Service was great.“

“We went right before lunch and had a yummy meal ! The special was really tasty eggs soft boiled with potato's and a pulled bbq pork,avocado with a mix of spices and veggies - YUM Huervos Ranchervos outstanding. Good coffee - staff attentive to our needs coming around often AND nice atmosphere . Open room , modern but nice soft touches inside too . Nice restrooms ! Definitely worth a trip #2,3 & 4“

“When I first came in I was warmly greeted by two great staff members. One or both may have been the owner. I was given the rundown of a pretty great menu with two really great sounding avenues: breakfast meat options with home fries and eggs, or something like a double sausage on a roll for lunch. Boom. That's what I got. Really nice diced onions and green peppers which were sauteed then placed on the bottom of the bun first, then I had them add spicy mustard and the sausage links went on top of it all. I loved this technical approach because it makes the eating experience not-messy and very nice. We've all had hot dogs where the toppings are stacked on top and fall off with every bite. That's not how this was. Well considered! The sausage was really flavorful and wasn't dry or too salty. there was a great snap to the casing of the sausage and the ends/tips of the sausage were satisfyingly crunchy from a great cook. The whole experience was a good one and I absolutely will be going back. I think the price, portion, and quality was excellent, too, for less than $10 -- you can't find that these days. The only improvment: might be to grill/toast the inside of the bun a little more, but that's extremely nitpicky and not required. I can't wait to do their breakfast-y platters next. If they're scrapple and bacon is the same quality as the sausage, this place is going to be a no-brainer when I come to Newark, Delaware once or twice a month to go to Days of Knights Games or Captain Blue Hen Comics. I actually live in Maryland and the drive is about 25 or 30 minutes, but I'm telling you, it's worth it! Main Street, and Helen's, rules. 5/5“

“We love this IHOP! We live in New Castle, but we travel to this one all the time! Everyone is always pleasant when you walk in, they all speak, smile and even the manager was singing along to the music playing. She also made sure to let us know of the upcoming NEW menu items. We usually have Tim as our server and he is always on point! Very personable and he talks to everyone like they are in there every day! The food always comes out hot and looks just like what you order from the menu! I used the restroom and when I passed other servers/workers, they all speak and look like they actually want to be there, which is a nice feeling. The manager was checking the restrooms and she spoke and was very pleasant, which was very clean! You have a great crew here at this location, that is what keeps us coming back! “By far the best WH out there. The staff is incredible!! Servers are the best, then the cooks have never ever let me down. Seriously the best Waffle House ever. I’ve been probably 30 times in the last year or so. I always go in the morning around 7 am“
